    About that "focus" bit...it is true that we have it in us to get obsessed with a subject, especially a new subject or a new angle on a familiar subject. The tricky part is that we're often not particularly interested in whether or not there's going to be a product at the end. The focus you describe here sounds like our formidable Ti dom cousins, the ISTP.

    I have ADHD and I am an INTP

    • @pivotlifeforever
      @pivotlifeforever หลายเดือนก่อน

      Getting old, your ADHD will be reduced and the experiences will be transformed into the association power in various knowledge. That is converted into your intuition, ability to find patterns, etc. ADHD is the just learning process if you are INTP.

  • @Luna_who
    @Luna_who ปีที่แล้ว +48

    It’s amazing how accurate it is. The super focus is something I use very often. Ignore everything and finish quickly. Problem solving is something I take pride in because most people can’t seem to grasp concepts that seem very simple for me.
    I do judge other people who are “to slow” for me which is one of the reasons I usually work alone.
    Following schedules lets just say I usually wait till the last millisecond to finish. And the career the whole explanation is the reason I want to be a doctor even if it’s extremely difficult or unlikely.

    I am an INTP with Aspergers. Although I can certainly get focused, when I worked with others (I no longer do so as it was too painful) I always found that once I had 'solved' the problem, I had not the slightest interest in executing the solution. I wanted to move on to the next thing.

      @majidehqazizadeh1723 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Me too! When I get the solution, I have no motivation to represent it to others because my excitement about the project subsides then. I am a pronounced INTP-A (get above 90% for every trait when I do tests.)

    I hate when videos like are posted mostly because some of the points like organization and even EQ or emotional intelligence can be learned. Basically just because your grades are good in school does not mean you are not an INTP. Also saying INTP`s do not arrage their lives to be around people is a little dumb since everyone has their own thoughts and feelings about other people. For example I think it`s good to chill with friends sometimes. What I mean is that all INTP`s don't have to not be productive or be super analytical. Some INTPs might be better at researching while others may be better at problem solving. And besides its all about the cognitive functions. Ti is just a function and once you understand what Ti is and how you use it in everyday life then you can use your unique levels of Ti. For example I am not the best at coming up with new ideas, but I am good at researching. Not all INTPs are level 100 in specific skills. The functions are just how you autopilot and function normally everyday. And just remember that no matter what type you are, that you still have unique skills, emotion and thoughts that anyone else. If you meet another type that is the same as you, you will notice how they use the function in ways that you would not of. Everyone has unique skills and i'm going to be honest, most INTPs will resonate with most stuff in the video but I don't think we are all perfect at our Ti skills.
    Enough ranting.
    -INTP

    This is a perfectionist procrastinator.
    In fact, I’m already tired of stroking my ego with similar videos with a brief description of which people are unique, brilliant, etc., etc.
    It’s nice, of course, but it doesn’t quite coincide with everyday reality. Where, in fact, such isolation and concentration on any concept often presents us to others as stupid and stubborn, where at this moment you try some other attitude towards things, where you can get carried away and get lost in these concepts and this is actually a big problem for me.
    I feel like Bran Stark from Game of Thrones, who got lost in traveling into the past, where you see the world from different points of view, where the boy is no longer Bran Stark, but Bran Stark is just some kind of initial squeak among all the experience that has already been gained, your personality gets blurred in all this and you no longer know what you really need, where is your Self and how to choose those guidelines, when you make any choice, sometimes I can’t choose yogurt in the store for 15 minutes, I just freeze and don’t understand what happened it would be better.
    Now I’m on antidepressants for two years. Sometimes you want to live an ordinary normal life, and not all this, without these quirks in meanings and concepts, you just want to feel like a living person, and not the mind of a swarm somewhere inside yourself, where you constantly look at everything from different points of view.
    It would be more useful to look at something more detailed about the shortcomings of which this type of personality is simply pitch black.
    Where if this personality type often turns into the more clinically known type of schizoid, by the way, Einstein was a schizoid.
    Where, if you are a schizoid INTP, then awareness of your own desires and aspirations becomes a problem, where you will be taken somewhere in the wrong place, if you are not in the right place, then this will bring unbearable suffering, which is extremely difficult for this type of personality to cope with.
    I was torn by this short statement about INTP

      @@pizza8725 that’s sort of my point. I don’t think INTPs (which I am) are necessarily any more creative or better at problem solving than any of the other types. We’re extremely analytical, but that’s neither creative nor solving problems. It’s just evaluating, categorizing, finding commonalities etc. I’d be shocked if a personality type was innately “smarter” than another.
