I ordered this ACER model and its dimensions were slightly smaller. It still fit pretty nicely though. Also, I added a fire stick lite to the existing DMD and pull power from the extra usb port on the switch. Pretty cool to have old school games playing on that little guy while I'm playing games. Thanks for this tutorial - it's a nice upgrade and I'll get more mileage out of this baby.
I am wanting to do this to my pinball cabinet...was thinking of ordering some small poster made of some soft material and drap it in front of the monitor when not in use. Make it look like Fo-backglass...lol
@PDubsArcadeLoft not too sure about this one, would be so much better if the backglass would show an image related to the pinball table you're playing and the same for horizontal gaming (think dynamic marquee). A1Pinner and the active backglass mod works better for me.
Maybe figure out a way to slide the attack from mars back glass over the monitor so it lights up when playing vertical or pinball games and then take it off when you play side scroller games?
@@PDubsArcadeLoft bummer! I was hoping someone found a workaround by now. I love Pinner so much but the arcade1up PCB has it's limitations with performance. I was hoping for a performance boost with the switch but I don't think there's enough pinball for me there without pinball arcade working. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to respond to me and make these awesome videos in the first place!
Hey Dude - I'm a part time youtube dude. This is not my job or life. Also I've been sick with the flu and unable to make content. Third - it's not compatible.
I did this when the Arcade1up pinballs first came out using the Nintendo switch. I was called a joke on the modding pages and now they are acting like this is the coolest thing ever! It’s funny how all you shills follow these YT on everything.
Well I never called you a joke or anything. The Nintendo Switch Pinball Mod I did on my toy shock a long time ago. If people gave you crap they were idiots
Does this Backglass/Monitor Mod make the Intec Gaming Control Panel/Nintendo Switch Mod better or worse? Let me know below!

@@Picnmo nice!!! Enjoy!!!
Hypothetically, you could just add the monitor and use a hdmi switcher. That way you can play switch and keep the arcade1up tables.
Interesting idea!
This set up is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing. 😍
Appreciate the feedback!
I applaud the work, def makes it more usable.
Thanks Carl appreciate the feedback

Anything is possible!
I looking to buy this can you please do step by step video I don’t know anything about this stuff looking forward to learning great videos
this video was a step by step on installing the monitor.
I really like this. Does that monitor have a USB/card port for photo mode? Could always add your own digital marquees/images.
It does have a card port great idea!

Yes covered that in the final thoughts section. Thanks John for checking it outA
@@PDubsArcadeLoft funny I started typing my thoughts while you were saying exactly the same thing on yours ... great minds 😉

With the monitor mounted there really isn't any space for that but I like the idea
Very cool Dubs.
Thanks Fox
I'm confused both monitors look the same size ?/???
The playfied is 24", the backglass is 22"
Did you ever find a workaround for pinball arcade? Not being able to play that is the only thing holding me back from buying this.
Nope, only a few games work

Maybe you can add a power button to turn off the other monitor. Great mod too bad I don't have an A1up pinball cab I just have the toyshock cab.
The monitor has its own power button so you could do that but using the red button does it on the fly without having to step away from the controls
Definitely better mod with this Pdubs
Thanks Al!!! 👊
With this you really don’t need anything else. The switch has so many arcade games/collections. All the shmup collections are on switch. Pinball…etc.
It's an option that's out there in the market so figured I would cover it.
Love it! Awesome job! Just pre-ordered mine. Any word on when they ship?
I haven't heard when they will ship.
Hi made mine out of switch and playing pinball fx3.and way i could add top screen like real thing with images that change with game?
PDubs, you could probably review toilets and I would watch. LOL
Hahahahahah poopchuteTV
Any further update if the steam deck will work?
Where is the steam deck review for this???? It's been a while now 😌...

@PDubs Arcade Loft no worries man take care. My intect gaming control panel just arrived!
Would this setup work with steam deck?
Still testing:)
Same question but for mister
Or the anologe pocket because it's now a mini mister
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I'm trying to be patient lol
