@@kathrynmolesa1641 recently, also, carvey was really rude to sarah silverman on his podcast just because she DARED talk about how hostile the men on SNL (like farley... and no he is not immune to criticism just because he's dead) were to her as a writer. and no, she didn't say "the boys did it". she just told her story in anecdotes.
i have my big criticisms of silverman, but the fact is that she is quicker, funnier and more talented than most of these dudes.
YES, the dudes are FUNNY. but she is QUICKER and funny.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Dex, Dana's son. We remember him from the Dana Carvey Critic's Choice comedy special that played often on Comedy Central in the 90's when I was also a kid. There was a bit about Dana's little kids Tom & Dex and how they loved to have "naked time!" It was a cute story about his kids. Sad to hear Dex died.

I went on a Spain trip in Highschool. 100 teenage Canadians travelling around Spain, going to amazing museums and attractions. We spent 99% of the time goofing off and talking to the girls. I didn’t appreciate it nearly enough. I would’ve gotten the same experience if we had went to Calgary for 2 weeks lol.

Which the vast majority of the western world is on now. So it seems way more apparent. It also isn't used exclusively used by one ideology. The irony of the terms SJW, Cancel Culture, etc is they were coined by the very same group. It's become a pejorative to describe them by their detractors. Back in the day we went to Montreal to see an exhibit at the Fine arts Museum. It had snowed and all the parking was hosed up with snowbanks. So we stopped at a guy shoveling out his car. Trying to impress my friends I leaned out the car and said, "Excuse moi vous deronger monsure. Oh e la stationnment pour le vauture, pred ici?" Then I gave my friends a smug look.
