      It's better to use the proper tool..... I recommend using a J.I.S. Impact Screwdriver on JIS screws. I use a 'Vessel Megadora 980 Impact Screwdriver'
      It rotates the shaft 12° with each strike.
      Using a Philips screwdriver on JIS screws will strip so easily.

    Thank you good sir for showing me how to get my injector out although mines a lot more stubborn than yours was.
    Sending a great big thank you from Southwest Virginia/ Southeast Kentucky state line area.
    ( can’t go Bigfoot hunting without a truck) yes!! They’re real. Yes I’ve seen one 3 different times since 2013. I bet your laughing like I used to when ppl would tell me that they were real & here, but I stopped laughing when I came face to face with one 8 feet tall. Thank goodness he was about 50 feet away. I know I would have dropped dead if he’d been any closer. I’ll never again laugh at people who try to convince me something is real and I’ll never again question older ladies about how it’s possible for something to scare the piss outta them because I was only in my 40’s when Bigfoot scared the piss outta me back in September of 2013 in the mountains of Lee county Virginia.
    We ended up moving to the very same area where I’d seen that one that morning ( 5:00 am) and soon realized how our mountain top driveway got its name.
    Bigfoot mountain/ Bigfoot Gap/ Bigfoot circle. Etc….
    Local folks have called the area by these names for years.
    Although the state only includes the name Bigfoot once in this area.
    I’m shocked they acknowledge them at all.
    I figured since you educated me about the fuel injector, I would give you a small piece of knowledge from me. Big foots are very real. God bless have a good day.

    I used a Japanese Industrial Screwdriver and I got 6 screws out without pounding it. I should have pounded them like you showed.
    I stripped out the 7th Phillips head. I used a needle nose vise grip to turn get it out.
    I replaced the screw with a M5 x .8 thd x 16 mm long.

    the bigger gasket on my identical injectors has the notched size out towards the fuel rail however I noticed that you only had 1 with the notched bottom gasket. WHY 6:50 of the video I do not see notches at 7:19 you can see the notched gasket is there a difference because I have installed new injectors but number 4 leaks and I have replaced all o-rings on new injector

      Hello! The injectors have tho O-rings at the top to seal and the rings that look like washers are more of cushion but we recommend putting them in on all 4 injectors to avoid future problems. Don’t know why some have it and some don’t. Take well care!

      Hello! Thank you for sharing that our frontier videos have been helping you on fixing you our frontier. We try making our videos so they are informative and easy to follow for all of our friends on TH-cam. For the O-rings, you can use just about any engine oil or even 3 in 1. The oils will not affect or damage the O-rings and the oils will wash of eventually. Take well care!

    • @elchanojose
      @elchanojose  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello! The injectors are held down to the engine the same way as the frontier 4 cylinder but the v6 are different. Very similar system just more injectors and might be more components on the way to remove them on the v6. We will have to make a video on a v6 so we can cover both engines. Take well care!

      Hello! Your truck is a 6 cylinders and our truck is a 4 cylinders. The injectors are bolted or secured down the same on both but they are different part numbers. Your truck has 3 injectors in one side and the other 3 injectors on the other side. This can help you but in your case you have one side that is covered by the intake structure. Take well care!

    Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screwdrivers like vessel fits better for Japanese car screws.

  • @SA-iw4ci
    @SA-iw4ci หลายเดือนก่อน

    Those aren't Philips head screws.
    They are J.I.S.(Japanese Industry Standard) screws.
    I recommend using a 'Vessel Megadora 980 Impact Screwdriver'
    It's a impact screwdriver so it rotates the shaft 12° with each strike. It loosens the screw with each strike.
    It's way too easy to strip JIS screws with a Philips screwdriver.
