- We recently tested the new 2024 Tesla Model Y, which has been on sale in Ireland since 2022 and is designed as a larger SUV to the ever-popular Model 3. It hasn’t yet come in for the same facelift as the 3, though that’s likely to be on the way in 2025.

Just purchased a model y LR dual motor,7 seater.
It is a amazing vehicle. After rebates and discounts we paid 40.000 for a 53, 000 car .free charging and fds for 3 months.
People were lined up out the door of the Tesla dealer December 27 to buy or pick up their New Tesla.
My Teslas body gaps and fit and finish were perfect.
Get one or miss out on a fantastic piece of technology at a great price.
Nothing else comes close .

Hopefully the road noise will be improved with the 2025 Model Y. That’s a big reason for potentially going with an EV for me - very little road noise.
I've one question to ask, how is it the best selling car in Ireland given its cost to buy and insure? Even in the north here it's a minimum of £46k and group 46 insurance. I doubt that everyone is that loaded in Ireland to be able to afford such a thing.
I don’t live there but maybe many of them are on lease?
@georgewashington3012 probably but the headline statistic is "best selling" which suggests private sales rather than leases as a lease isn't really a sale as such.
