Senegal's artisanal fishermen are experiencing a great increase in catches after the country's government has cancelled the licenses of 29 foreign fishing trawlers in its waters.
I did this for 11years even in Senegal/ kafuntin, Gambia/Gunjur,Tanji,Burfut,bakau,Banjul,Bara, Senegal/Betenti,jogay,gifir,Jualo,mbur,yarah,Ndar and muritani/ Nuadibu i still like this job so much. Every single thing they doing i can do it. Can drive the boat, dealing with the engine too. At the head of the boat can stand there and search for fish too. Throwing the fishing net and pulling it every step of the process i can tell without looking at at. Even if the fishing net is destroyed i can repair it. Is masculine job but it doesn't mean women can't do it. Some of them can ❤
Great work, Greenpeace!! Keep it going!
