Yes. We have enough. All developments must have a 100 year supply of ground water before they can build. The news stories about water have sure slowed down in the past few years...seemed like a lot of fear mongering going on during the Governor election. We know we live in a desert and we are certainly mindful of our water use. If the Dubai can figure out how to have water I think we can as well. I'm not worried.
People are thinking of the West Valley as it was 20 years ago with very little development and few trees. But if someone's friends all live in the East Valley, it would be better for them to choose the East Valley. I have East Valley friends I don't see often enough because I live in the West Valley. Although I love it here in my little 55+ community.
Good point! The issue with friends is that they tend to think that we will love their area as much as they love it. I just encourage people to check out all of the options and then if they end up near friends it is a bonus. I'm glad to hear that you like your community! Which one do you live in?
In a few years I plan to move to Phoenix from Prescott area. I will phone you when the time comes. I am looking at Sun City Grand. I want a small house with a enclosed yard. I have close to 3/4 acre, too big for me to care for anymore.
Will there be enough water for everyone?
