as someone who wasn't really ever exposed to porter robinsons music before either, this review really resonates with me and my opinion
I literally just found your channel and I’ve loved every video I’ve seen so far.
This album didn’t exactly hit me the first time I listened to it, mainly because all of the singles were front loaded at the start. However after repeat listens everything kinda falls into place nicely. Glad you enjoyed it.
I agree with you that the closer is not up to par with the rest of the album and I kinda wish he hit us with one more big drop, chorus or electronic moment before the album finished. If you ever listen to nurture again I’m sure you’ll enjoy it’s closer a lot more. (Also the end of Is There Really No Happiness is apparently just Porter’s voice pitch shifted and manipulated.)
