Love the F-Type, but given the option I’m going to stick with my F-Pace SVR that has more sound, a more unique interior, all the room, and 90% of the performance....for less than 2/3 of the price. And now with the facelift of the F-Pace I’m going to order another SVR. One day maybe a used first gen F-Type SVR :).
As an f type owner, 911 is better all around. But F type is a pretty special car to drive especially in A country like Turkey. So rare yet so sexy. I love it.

The R starts at £97k not £117... also you can get big discounts, so even after specking one up nicely you’ll pay less than £97k. Look at Autoebid for instance, huge discounts on JLR products. Also the lesser V8 isn’t 544ps it’s 450ps which starts at £70k maybe this is the sweet spot?
I’ve always had a soft spot for f types. Though and exhaust is an option I feel like it sounds good regardless I know I’m not physically their and can’t hear the sound so it doesn’t really do it justice. But either way unreal car lad 👍🏼
Yeah if I was the designer of the 'original' F-Type nose I'd be pretty upset and insulted that they'd seen fit to replace it with this. Did Ian Callum do the original? I know he has departed Jaguar now. Did some new upstart change it to this? Of course the increased power and tune is desirable as is the much needed infotainment upgrade and presumed other interior build quality upgrades, but those headlights, sorry, that's a f*ck up, and they've ruined probably the second or third most special part of the car (those being the body shape and its rear profile, side/quarter profile, and front profile). Electronic glovebox release was standard in the XF from almost 10 years ago by the way, nothing new there.

You can easily get £10k off list with the Jaaaag - fully spec’d at around £88k - autoebid.com and the list you quoted was way out too. The other V8 isn’t 544bhp it’s around 440bhp and starts at £62k after discount - FOR A SUPERCHARGED 5.0L V8 🤣🤣 This is the sweet spot surely? Less than half the price of the Vantage!! Awesome value for money, and does it need to compete with a 911, or anything? Great as a stand-alone choice, I’m getting out of a V12 DB11 for one, far more ‘alive’.

Looks like a mustang from the front around lights. Can't believe they still put the horn sign and write airbag on the centre of the steering wheel, looks cheap. At the same price of a GT3 pretty much, not great value. It hasn;t really got a market, Jags are old mans cars and always will be. Would be aimed at the overweight middle-aged director who doesn't appreciate a decent car. Sorry but it looks like the same rubbish.
It is! Also cruising on the motorway effortlessly so nice and chilled but you put your foot down and instantly you are launched forward, and for everyone else around you it's like Thor is coming for them 😄 I love mine 😊
It's actually an SVR underneath, suspension and all sorts of goodies carried across. Still not entirely sure on the styling from the front, but still want one!
I looked at 996/997 before choosing my f type, the used market is where they compete better, if buying new I’d get the 911, but at £30k you’re looking at a 10+ year old 911 or a couple of year old f type, the tech is better, the drive is better and its faster and personal opinion it’s more of a substantial car, it’s grander more luxurious, I’ve also got a 987.2 which shares a lot of parts with 996/997 and the jag just seem a much newer car. Anyway that’s my boring bit of consumer advice 👍🏻
30 to 40 yrs we all start to grow up. Nice car agreed. Love F Type now I understand why they don’t sell as well as old sports jag. 170k for that money you have Turbo S. The appeal of these is speed and comfort, cheaper than the competition. Jag are nice but not in the league of a Porsche or Ferrari etc

The trick is, put the ignition on, turn the exhaust button on and put it in dynamic and it makes a massive difference I promise!

The exhaust button opens the valves 50%. You have to put it in Dynamic mode for the valves to open 100%.
