I don't care for how Osvald's description is characterized. It's not that it was necessarily a riddle, I think that takes away from it. Honestly, being more blunt and just saying solved an ancient question or something along those lines comes off a bit better in my opinion. Heck, given he's a scholar who focuses on equations, it would have been way better to say, "A Scholar who solved an equation that existed for centuries" over a riddle. I get where you're coming from with it, but it's not that there was an ancient question phrased in a way that requires thinking outside of the box. Osvlad didn't answer a riddle, he more or less stumbled onto it through the power of raw love for his daughter and his desire to protect her. I know I'm just nitpicking, but I think saying that discovering the One True Magic was part of some riddle weakens the idea of the OTM. I also disagree with Partitio's description because he became a billionaire business tycoon for a moment, bought the patent, then gave it away. I feel like that also cheapens Partitio's whole story by saying he became a billionaire tycoon. And the last one you did also feels so disconnected from the story you were painting with the rest. If anything, shouldn't it be, "A Warrior who fought his way to peace and prosperity for all?" If it needs to be added then a comma splice after warrior and before who could add, "now king," but I don't think it's entirely necessary. That being said, I find it really funny how that's basically the story. The most disconnected story was Agnea's, at least in my opinion. It's also the one that's least impactful in the world. Ochette faces an apocalypse, one that's in part caused by the Moonshade order. Castti discovers a cure for an illness caused by the Shadow. One that was spread due to a certain someone going insane and following Claude's ideas. Throne (I can't get the e, too lazy to do it) not only wins her freedom, but also takes down the originally intended vessel for Vide. That very person rejected his birthright and desired to make his own vessels for it instead, and that person also influenced many others (such as Castti's former colleague). Osvald, through the power of love, discovers the Seventh Source, the One True Magic, after facing his former colleague-turned-enemy's attempted ascension. Partitio fights for the common person so the world may not see struggle and strife. He not only helps invent the ability to mass produce steam engines, a revolutionary piece of technology, but also fights for it to be available for everybody instead of just the rich. Agnea dances and prevents Disneyland. Temenos uncovers a secret plot by the Sacred Guard to use the power of Shadow as well as uncovering a plot by the Moonshade Order, although not to the fullest extent (until the end at least). Hikari, fighting against his corrupted blood, fights to see a future where there is no bloodshed. He must overthrow his brother so he may stop him from attempting world domination. In other words: Ochette: World ending. Castti: World ending. Osvald: Potentially world ending, mostly depends on Harvey at that point. Partitio: A form of world domination (by the markets). Agnea: Extremely not world ending. Oh no, Disneyland exists and some superstar is a little obsessed with herself. Temenos: World ending. Hikari: Definitely world ending/domination.

My first time hearing these songs and, I don't know if I'm just in some kind of mood, but Pursuit of Hope ond Song of Hope just gut punched me. Wonderful soundtrack.
Just by looking at the title and listening to the song I wouldn't doubt that she was the main character lol I feel like the reason the theme is called "Song of Hope" compared to "The Journey..." is to show that she IS the representation of Hope, while the others aspire to their respective definitions.
I liked Agnea all the way through but when her final boss fight was just a symbolic representation of her doing a song and dance competition, complete with diegetic lyrics, she shot up my list to become my favorite.
When I first heard Hikari’s theme, I thought, “hmm, kinda vanilla and generic…” but then as soon as In Pursuit of Kingship started playing, HO LY SMOKES, it’s soooo hype…!!
Nice to hear some of these... some of the "journey's end" versions i only got to hear a little bit because i was overleveled and killed the boss too quick.

I remember a mashup like this where they made it transition perfectly with the battles and everything, yet I can't find it now. It honestly felt like game trailer material to me. Heck had a moment where I wasn't sure this game existed as I couldn't find a video I saw of it, and I couldn't remember the title, it was just deleted in my history.
Was it something like "In pursuit of everything - Critical Clash 2" maybe? You can also try to search the theme you want (Ex: In pursuit of freedom) + the name of the battle theme (Ex: Critical Clash)

Temenos Theme sound like an evil character theme a manipulator and silver tongued demagogue. By the way i never played the game so I dont really know who he truly is.
He's like the exact opposite? "Doubting is what I do." I think he says. Since he has a mystery solving twist to his path, I think the theme just represents that.
He is an inquisitor that has a Sherlock Holmes esque mind palace thing when he solves crime scenes during his chapter. As for his personality he is always very calm but sassy as hell, so i'd say the theme fits him perfectly

I beat the game today along with a certain boss that was in the previous game. Love the feeling this game series leave me after I beat them.
Agnea the only one with a truely unique final boss them :)
I love that she brings so much hope. All the other stories are great. But for the group she gives them hope. I adore here design and here theme.

I dunno. I loved Agnea's story exactly because of its light-hearted, cheerful tone. Such a breath of fresh air in the gaming-verse in general imho.
