Short bonus: bring the ice shard magic. When you miss a critical deflect and he's charged up with the fire buff, you can throw out one shard and his buff is instantly deleted. Everybody can use it, even if it does basically no dmg. You don't have to fear chip damage on blocks or getting wombo combo'd.
Hahah it’s fine man once you get the hang of his moves it becomes easier over time. Also try farming ur morale rank upto 25 and upgrading ur heavy armor at the black smith as much as you can or invite people if you’re getting frustrated and want to just move on. Best of luck with him buddy.

What makes him hard are those normal attack combos when you get him off the horse. The red critical attacks are all easy to learn except from one where he does a combo of two.
Yea so you just wanna block always and deflect as much as you can to keep your block from breaking + keep your distance from him to bait him into red hits to abuse him - his regular hits are too demonic/fast to get hits on him haha apart from the overhead slash I mention in the video
Honestly just be patient and wait for his red critical attacks and parry them its so easy also for those of you who dont know your gonna have to face lu bu again later on in the game round 2😂💀
Yea patience is key with him, can’t be aggressive with him also tbh I thought his round 2 was fairly easy compared to the first fight so they should be alright

@@Willis_war I’m on Xbox otherwise I’d hop on to help you with him, tbh he’s probably the hardest boss in the game so that’s something - once you get through him nothing can stop you. The approach from video worked for me just keep your distance from him, hold block while deflecting and get used to the red attacks to always counter them (punish him). Should eventually slap him up - best of luck buddy!
Getting the right martial arts is too much on chance so I left it out incase people don’t have the specific ones, if you have any that can get quick hit in before he smacks you back might be worth. I personally didn’t have any decent ones on weapons with high deflect chance so just didn’t use them at all - just a regular heavy with high spirit seemed to do the trick.

I did the same and he bugged out, his horse disappeared while he was riding it and he sat there floating in the air as if he was riding a horse but was stuck there. We just went up and hit him until he died.

You should have at least +3 gear by that time. Solo is the best way to go. Just be patient and parry

I just couldn’t upgrade armor cause mid boss attempts so equipped heavier ones because you can barely dodge his rapid attacks anyway
