Stock exhaust doesn't sound bad at all. In real life it's a bit louder than in the vid. On the inside you don't hear so much of it though - Macans are very well sound insulated. Lower your windows. Our Macan has 31k km at the time creating this vid.

How did you record the audio? you did a very good job there. I’ve been trying to do something similar but I get a lot of wind noise, even using a lav microphone covered with fur.

@@ABusLux here's a picture of the exact setup used that day. The position of the camera is obvious, I then attached the Rode Video Micro as shown. Had to use a tripod because I didn't have any other suction cup at hand. Used an USB cable to fix the tripod and to keep the boot lid down while driving. Sport Plus and Confort Mode seem sound better than Sport mode... Possible ? If yes, why the Confort Mode sound better than Sport Mode lol but of course the Sport Plus Mode sound is the winner.
...but Sport Plus is not convenient for daily driving since it shifts automatically so very late (near red line) ... unless u shift manually that is. Comfort mode doesn't sound as good as Sport mode to me. Comfort is very quiet because it shifts up very fast for fuel economy reasons (which totally makes sense).
Hey there Long Luong ... during the last three years Comfort Mode started to sound better and better - there are even some "pops" here and there when accelerating hard, never anticipated it coming. As I mentioned in a past comment, our Macan still keeps sounding better with every year of ownership. We are at 90k km now.
I drive in Sport Mode 70% of the time, because I like the gas and break pedal response curve much much more than in Comfort Mode.
What year is this macan S? 1st or 2nd gen?
Model year 2017 (MY17), third version of the first gen. Delivered in September 2016.
