I rented a Tahoe to drive 4 hours to New York last year and I've been obsessed since.
We have 2013 Chevy Tahoe’s in our fire district, and there is no issues whatsoever with them. From what I understand that is probably the best year of Chevy Tahoe’s. Still trying to find more interesting reviews on the 2017, 2019, 2020,.

What was the towing capacity for that modle, I read from chevys website a 5.3 with 4x4 with max towing package is 8400.

how many problems will the first year have? the 2014/2015 had some common AC problems that pissed off alot of people if you look up the www.carcomplaints.com site
This model looks better than the newer one. They made the new one too long to accommodate families and it reduces the "cool" factor somewhat.

Did they add the annoying stop/start on the Tahoe? I heard it would become standard on all 2020 GM models.
I agree with you 100%, that is the worse feature ever. We have one on our Jeep Cherokee that has a V-6. Yet, you can go buy a Dodge Charger or Challenger with 375hp, 475hp, or 707hp V-8's and not have it.
No I have the 2020 lt and was dreading on buying because of the stop and go feature but it is excluded
I've sat and driven one. These SUVs doesnt feel like the early 00s and 90s. I had a 02 and now i have a 08. That 08 and the new ones dont drive as good as my 02 did.
How does the remote start work if you don’t have the push button start?

Good review! Just picked up my new 19 Premier a week ago, love it! I got the 5.3 as it's hard to find the 6.2. Here's something else interesting - for people that say the Tahoe is "big," it's actually shorter in overall length than Colorado. By the way do you think the Escalade is worth the extra $?

I notice that in these new homes, the garage is at least 3 inches too short to fit a Chevy Silverado! How did that happen!??? It should be a state law in Texas that ANY new house should be able to hold a Chevy Silverado. And I am not talking a tandem garage (one side is "double length" but actually 1.5 length). A 2 car or 3 car garage should be able to hold a Chevy Silverado

Man this is an old SUV. Dated interior and all. I'm sure it drives fine, but man, Chevy just lets their cars/trucks just die on the vine and then is almost forced to refresh them.

Make a Tahoe with 225 hp. And give it 30 mpg. I don’t need 355 hp. My 97 Tahoe was way better than my 08 Tahoe. Same mpg

The 5.3L engine is literally older than me. And nah, I ain’t paying $50,000 for an SUV. Especially from GM. Those things fall a part. All modern GM. Last good Tahoe was 2001ish. But Hell, the new C8 Corvette is cheaper? That’s funny. This SUV/crossover trend is retarded.
Those cables and that seatbelt you see in the back are just lazy design. Seriously, it wouldn’t take much to hide the cables and move the seatbelt.

Kia Telluride blows this junk away and for far less money and much longer standard warranty.
J J the Chevy has a 0-60 time over a second faster, has a bigger engine making 64 more horsepower, higher towing capacity by 3000 pounds, and kias are notorious for being cheaply made and unreliable.

So zero reason to purchase a 2020 Tahoe over a 2017-2019 model. GM is garbage now.
