I was going to purchase the 2022 and my 2018 lease ended. I looked at 2022 and showed my wife and we agree we love our 2018 better and it's under 27,000 miles. Yep, we purchased or 2018 LT. Safe Travels everyone!
I actually drove both and went with the 2020 premier. I liked it better. But to each their own. Both beautiful rides
Mine is 2021 cause the independent rear suspension made the 3rd row more useable. Cargo has grown too

I love every Tahoe body style that’s been made. They’re all great!
I prefer the exterior of the 2020 model. GM messed up the exterior of the 2021 in my opinion.
For the chevy trucks I think they need to have their own style and not copy and paste their front end design on every car
Personally I like how the 2020 looks over the 2021. Then again, I think the 80s and 90s Ford and Chevy trucks and utility vehicles looks perfect, as they scream run me to the ground..... *_if you can_* .
It seems that the 2022 Tahoe, especially the LTZ, is superior to the Chevrolet Spark in terms of size, shape and specifications
Huge differences here, - we've had customers who preferred the 2020 over the 2021 but the new generation has been a real success with a majority of Chevy fans here in Kentucky. Thanks for sharing a great video!

2020 is still the right size to maneuver on city streets and park, with adequate power and off-road capability with 2 speed transfercase. Electric steering makes tight turning easy for its size. Although the third row is compromised, comfort in the other seats is comfortable. Give it the rare three bench option. You'll have a winner.
I like the 2020s tail lights a lot better, I like the red, I hate all that clear from reverse lens! They should have kept the 2020 around longer only 2 or 3 years, really! Soon the all out completely redesigned 2023 will be out! I think the 2020 looks a lot better all around, it looks a lot cleaner and with out all that nasty chrome!

Just bought a 21 RST loaded. I had a 19 LT. I prefer the upgrades in the 21 especially the ride quality. The independent rear suspension makes a huge difference in ride quality. Also the auto start stop is now optional. I was waiting for that option as I hate it. The added 3rd row leg room as well as great cargo space in the trunk make it worth the change. I dont need frills and digital dashes. People buying this SUV need an SUV. We offroad and fill it up. Not run a limo service. Overall very impressed.

You aren’t wrong, but do keep in mind that the Premier is no longer the top trim! I’ll be sure to take a look at the High country once it gets here!
I have a 2018 Tahoe and would not trade it in for this new one but would for the new Denali. And why no fogs??

I was waiting to buy 21 but Not impressed with rear axle change. Reduces ground clearance. The dropping corners will strike ground often. And in loose sand the rear axle will act as anchors.
I’d rather have a column shifter than those stupid electronic buttons! I live in Phoenix Az, this is the only police vehicles we have, imagine the officer in a police chase stoping reversing, back in drive back in reverse back in drive, and he has to keep messing with those stupid switches!
I really do agree. It is very un-ergonomic. Also you have to look at the buttons and cant go by feel which is bad fro stuff which sounds like J-Turns? But yeah column shifter is way better for the mucle memory! They won’t put the column shifter back on police sadly because you can press park when rolling 5 mph and it will automatically break. I don’t feel it’s worth it for that, nobody ever needed that really.
No mention of the independent suspension? This is a huge difference

U know I really don't why everyone has a problem with crome. Crome looks good. It looks way better then just black. It looks plain when everything is blacked out.
2021 Tahoe’s look like mini vans on steroids I would stick with a 2020 any day.
I agree, I almost bought a 2022 but bought a slightly used 2020 RST, 6.2L was the major factor!
There should be an option to disable the "stop/start" (if there isn't one). The 21 is overall a great upgrade but the fogs are it for me.....
I'm not a fan of the 2021 tahoe/suburban ,, I feel like they made it look like a mini van on the new ones ... I wish to buy a 2020 some day

I actually like the dash on my 2017 tahoe. Column shifter was no problem with me. You missed the big feature the 2017 dash has is the hidden compartment behind the info screen. BOO on that omission!!!
Wonder why they redesigned it so soon? Felt it was still new looking. Plus they had the 2007-2014 tahoe for 7 years. These were 2015-2020 which is only 5 years.
P.S: I’m so saddened they removed my favorite gear shifter cars don’t use anymore

When I said button placement I was referring to the button to close the tailgate not the seat controls. I even pointed to the button that I was referring to, its on the left side on 2021.

I really don't feel the 2021, it looks like a giant sports utility vehicle. Whereas the 2020 is filled with sleek straight cuts which make it look like a smooth elegant beast when you look at it head-on. I guess it each-their own. It's either elegant or sporty. I'm staying with my elegant. My 2018 is the Tahoe for me. When I want sporty I'll hop into my Silverado.
The 2020 Tahoe looks much wider than the 2021 Tahoe from the back, but the 2021 is wider

2021…Independent Rear Suspension…longer wheelbase and longer length…. Infotainment screen looks like a add on and cheap. Rear turn signals changed back to Amber turn signals. Sliding center console.

Yup, not a big fan of sun/panoramic roofs. They start to leak during time.
There is two key things you forgot to mention. The 2020 tahoe has a solid rear axle..2021 has Independent rear suspension.
2020 doesn't flip on side collisions...the 2021 does.
2: the 2021 is 1100 ibs heavier, its narrower and sits higher.

Push button P D N R transmission gear selector is a deal killer. Like the dial gear selector on the Ram Power Wagon. No 4x4 truck or SUV should have buttons or dials as gear selector.
