H1000 is over 100 a # up in Canada, 9mm is 26+ for 50. I'm reloading at just over 21 for 50. My old pre vid H4227 was 45 plus taxes, now it's over 70. Primers I do runs down to Idaho, to get them.
If you're paying $10 a box (assuming 50 count) delivered, you have a great deal going and should buy bunches. I jumped over the Target Sports a few minutes ago to see what I'd have to pay due to my state's "restrictions" and processes for purchasing ammo online and this is what the numbers look like for the cheapest (Magtech) 9mm 115gr ammo (both in box of 50 and case of 1,000 which is currently unavailable): 1 case of 1,000 rounds product $209.80 tax $29 free shipping LGS delivery fee $10 11% CA tax of $23 total: $272/case or $.27/cpr or $13.6 per box 1 box of 50 rounds product $10.49 shipping $12 tax: $1 shipping insurance $.19 total $23.77/box or $.24/cpr Not sure how you're paying $10 delivered as even by removing my state's LGS delivery requirement fee and extra 11% "tax" on top of sales tax, I'm still coming in at $12/box or 20% above what you are paying. But, good for you and as I said, buy more!
@@ReLoadersBench For a fee, $95 year, you are a member of "ammo plus" program which gives you free shipping, on anything, even one box, and a 14% discount on everything purchased. If you shoot a lot and don't reload, it is an amazing program.
@ReLoadersBench TargetSports gives 8% off for "members". Then they added another 6% off for Blk Fri & Cyber Mon (week), plus a few mfg's have rebates. $8-9/bx, and if you're in a non-tax state, plus free shipping for "members" or case sized orders.
Yeah, you just have to keep an eye out and sometimes get lucky. I use Ramshot Silhouette for 9mm and Brownells had a sale recently where I ended up getting it for about 38 a pound after all fees (they had free shipping but had to pay hazmat) and of course I ordered a few pounds. Local shop had a blowout on a special deal he had on SPP (Federal 100's) for 39.90 a brick so I grabbed about 10 bricks of those.
Oops, looks like I had that backwards...according to the burn chart. See what happens when you get old? If you reload with a progressive press set up for LPP, yeah SPP 45 ACP brass is troublesome. To each their own.
a few weeks ago i picked up 2 pounds of h4350 for my 30-06 loads and it was 70 bucks a pound last time i bought it was only 24,99 a pound didnt need any primes right now because i still have a few bricks left that was only 35 a brick when i got them now they are 89,99 a brick at these prices its almost cheaper to just buy factory loads

@@lens7859 same here. Cheaper to buy a case than all the components and time. I mostly just reload rifle rounds
@@ReLoadersBench you’re in californiastan? Got it. I’m not much better in Ct, but still ok for now

Good grab on the powder but great pick up on the primers!
Man I went to Academy yesterday and the powder selection was normal 45-50$ a pound. Looked up though and the tag on h4350 was $76 a pound.
$76/lb....ouch! Depends on some powders and their availability. I do SO miss the days of $20/lb powder. Memories long gone.
people that dont like sp primer .45acp is odd to me, I will never understand I guess, and 2400 is faster burn? compared to unique?

Crazing pricing! Inflation and greed...but like gas and electricity, we will pay whatever the price if we need the commodity.
Just want to point out that having a filtration medium such as active charcoal in your filter is just useless.
It smells kind of sweet to me.
