  • This Beech tree was causing the owner a few problems and they wanted the whole group removing but permission was only granted to remove one tree.
    With only a tiny drop zone we ended up rigging a lot of the pieces off using the neighbouring tree

    Nice little bit of rigging there mate. Once you've finished with you saw what do you us to clip it your harness and have you thought about doing an equipment video of the things you use?

      No, because I was using the tree that was staying as an anchor point I couldn't use spikes. Could have come down to put them on I guess and gone back up but that seemed a bit pointless.

      @@RAWArb yes it would have been.. next item to get: retreivable pulley saver :-) I use the retreivable rings cambium saver. Couldn't care for a bit more friction but is saves a trip up and down
