This might be might first ever youtube comment. Just want to say i have a notepad out. I bought two acres an im clueless. Halfway into your video I'm pausing to make sure i subscribed to your channel, liked your video, and left an optimistically worded comment. I love how genuine you are. What an amazing fellow! I'll stay tuned to see if you can help me figure out why my power flickers when high energy appliances turn on such as the AC! Then you would really have out done yourself! Have a great day!
Amazing to watch such knowledge in climbing, selecting the limb, tying it up properly, then sawing it!! JUST WOW!! loved the video... And the cleanup crew were equally knowledgeable and able. Nice job! Liked and subscribed...
Taking down a decent size tree that is growing over the garage and trying to keep it manageable. We don't want the limbs too big to fall and mess up the roof. Or drag off the shingles. Great video.
I don't think it's as easy as he makes it look. He obviously has years of experience. How did it go? I'm thinking of getting a spider lift, and taking it down 16" at a time if I have to. It's such dangerous work.
I've been cutting smaller trees with a handsaw. I wouldn't recommend having the wood in the open or allowing it to get wet or humid because it calls termites. Very relaxing video. ty.
Hey thanks frank about to take one down myself,2 actually. Appreciate you staying with us for the length of the clip instead of just silence. Question though do you recommend a 1/3 cut on the face and then 2/3 on backside when at the top removing branches or just large trunks
That is really informative and well done - Thanks for posting! However, I am in a REAL pickle -- similar situation as yours, but add in the fact of a powerline supply to the house on one side of the tree and a fence on the other AND (here is the impossible part) the tree is very rotten! Our tree is only about 10 inches in diameter, but is around 40 feet tall. Simply cannot climb it. On fixed income, we cant pay a huge amount to a tree company. A real puzzler, and dangerous too.
I have a huge tree looming over my house - branches hitting the roof constantly. Cant find anyone to even give me a price. Work has stopped on the remodeling until that tree comes down
@@thelastactor Maybe it was a dangerous and complicated job. I wonder how much these guys would have charged to do this job. $3,000 might have been going rate for yours. Did you get other estimates?
I need this done for 3 maple trees hanging over my house...bad thing is they're my neighbors trees, planted about 3 feet from my fence and my house. Can I just trim the branches that are hanging over onto my property?
It probably depends on the state. In my State of Florida, if I remember correctly, you can. But it you live somewhere like Seattle (big tree huggers) you might not be able to. What state are you in?
If you google maps my new house (fixer upper) i just bought, injust got a new roof installed this week but the power wires go through the jungle in my yard, and the meter fell. Had to pay 300 to put it back up and getting the power off again then back on once they had proof meter was up, ( they told me someone stole it). But the wires still go through the trees, which the electrician told me it had fell once when they were trying to put it up already, shouldn't my power company be the ones to have to cut down these 40 ft plus feet tall trees that are connected to my power wires I understand they can't do my whole yard even though it looks like I live in a Forbidden Forest but I have a wrap around driveway that I can't even use and I have to try not to hit a tree every time I back out because I can't go around and it's just been abandoned so long it's so many trees that are so tall and I can't afford 1200 when they seem to be about 200 trees in my yard I honestly wish I could post pictures on TH-cam because it's even the ditches around the house are filled with vines and Poison Ivy and everything but I heard that if that's in front of my yard then that's on me to maintain does anybody know if any of the part of this yard that is overgrown has should be done by the power company and not just me this is my first house I just turned 30 and I'm spending all my savings trying to fix it up and I'm already upset because I was thinking it was so far back at a dead end of the road in the middle of a forest that it would have a peaceful surrounding but the Sounds in that neighborhood Echo because 3:45 in the morning it's constant noise and then you can hear a club across the street and I just wish I didn't wait till escrow was over but your first time is always when you live and learn and right now I'm looking for people to help me learn a little bit more if anybody has any tips or tricks please and thank you. I live in Georgia if that helps and also excuse the punctuation and run on sentences I like speech to text I was in a wreck so a lot of my body parts are hard to use and doing this much texting would have taken hours
I think i can cut a same size tree no problem. I cut small trees before. Small ones. Threes like this size big, i will rent a man lift, and take my time, and cut only the size i can handle. I guess 2 days per tree is sufficient amount of time.
i moved into my bfs house 3 years ago he’s been here for almost 7..theres a huge tree dead infront of our back door the trump is around 6x bigger then the trees he showed..all this did was show me there’s no way in hell this mf gone cut down tht tree😂
Was hoping to learn how to cut it down...how to tide the rope to other branches etc.. appreciate safety equipment. But you did not share any detail...when you bought home decision to cut tree keep saying you had lot of work but did it under an hr. Bla bla bla Not impressed..

After this video, I feel I'm competent enough to now handle a tree that is just begging for a windstorm to drop it on my driveway.
Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for sharing. How much would it cost to remove a tree like this in your area?
Thank you, sir.
Excellent video.
Thanks for the video. Glad you had a successful outcome!.
There's joy in the house of the Lord.
only got to see 4 seconds of the finished job, wish it showed more. but cool video, loads of information

Great video on this. This is first video I've seen that's informative and explains things good.
Amazing
How much does something like this cost??
With these trees being so close to the fence, is grinding the stump the only option? Or can I safely get away with using the burn method?
What are you going to do about that trunk growing through your fence?
Can you give us the name of the spikes to climb a tree
And where are you located?
How much would this cost? How many trees ? Ty
how much do you charge to remove one such tree?
they probably have to look at it
Good job! Are two big pine trees eight metres from my house too close? They are healthy, but how to minimize wildfire risk? Thank you

On a side note frank you should check out how your LLC can pay you just for being an LLC

This is not diy
If you need help I can help you I run keep Odessa green any pointers or tips I’m always open to share
right, but it kind of helps justify the cost of professional tree work.
@@lydiaahubbell8545 maybe? I mean I was quoted $3000 for one tree! Lol

I could see an electric chainsaw being handy when climbing. They are light and easy to start. depends if they are up to the cutting task

how many men working for that hour? only 3?
You need a new fance that one is already falling
Can you give a rough price for how much this cost in this instance?
Total ended up costing around $1,300 for removing both trees and grinding both stumps. Depending on your area, prices may vary.

Not much use of this video, cutting down the most difficult branches were skipped.
how someone is so stupid enough to put a fence near a tree & then blame the tree, costing a tree it's life
I know right, thankfully, there are a lot of trees left. So they didn’t feel too bad.
