  • Tree removal today, a cherry tree is to be removed but there is no access through the house so it has to go over the roof. Join me in a day in the life as a tree surgeon as we climb this tree and dismantle it bit by bit

Thanks man. Glad you like the videos. I love my snap lock, unfortunately, I've just got a zillon and the snap-lock won't fit on the lanyard so I'm back on a locking crab

Thanks man. It’s tough talking to yourself isn’t it. I’m starting to feel a bit more relaxed about it now I’ve done quite a few videos. Keep on going

Thanks man, glad you like the videos. It's a triple lock snap hook or something like that. The one I have came with the Grillon as part of the lanyard. I really like the snap hooks, but some people hate them. It's secure but easy to open with one hand. Only problem is that the closed eye on the bottom will not take a sowed eye on the lanyard, so you end up with a knot.

Feel like some plywood and a good tarp would have made that cleanup go alot quicker

Not sure about the plywood but the tarp would definitely help. Unfortunately the boss doesn't carry them so as a freelance climber I just have to make a mess and let him worry about the sawdust. It gets everywhere!!
