That "unit" is Deep Blue. She's the largest recorded Great White on earth and in that video looks heavily pregnant. What an incredible species.
It was a video to show how it can sometimes be safe to swim with a great white this one clip disproves the entire narrative about sharks being evil
@@kurtpunchesthings2411 there was a dead whale and that seems to keep the sharks from attacking the divers because the food is right there. a couple of other divers do it too in the striped suits. just dont be the only food source in the water is my advice. i was in the water surfing awhile back and one came and bit a seal in half a few hundred feet away from me. ive had quite a few encounters with this type of shark and its not fun at all
@@ryancuda45 I've seen divers swimming with sharks all the time, regardless of wether there is food around or not. I suppose they're specifically trained to do that?
@@muhammadeisa1459 depends on the type of shark. Some are best avoided, some aren't interested in humans as food. Rays are cousins of sharks and they have to be treated the same - some attack humans, some don't.

Seriously, do you know if it's normal for sharks to do that?
I have only seen great white sharks do that when they hunt seals. But jumping back to back doesn't make sense unless it was more than one shark, i didn't see any seals either, sharks are not known to waste much energy but may be this one in particular was being playful.

I may be mistaken but looking at it's tail it looks like a Mako Shark. When hooked Mako's go crazy and jump a lot.

As terrifying as they are, Sharks are beautiful creatures and in the last 50 years there has been a 70% drop in their population due to our over exploitation. Thanks for having a positive perspective in this vid Ozzy man, they must be protected 😥

In my 20's I worked at a water park where it was my job to get into a 250,000 gallon tank and feed sea turtles, fish, rays, and sharks. I had a favorite shark was a 10+ foot sand tiger I would feed her then lay on the bottom and pet her like a big puppy. People always asked if I was crazy or had a death wish for feeding and petting a shark. I would reply well I do not have a death wish and as far as being crazy I have not been found to be crazy YET. They didn't realize that the shark found the one spot in the whole tank that had a jet stream of water that would flow over her gills allowing her to sleep while I was petting her. I also had a ray trained to take a fish from my regulator so it looked like I was getting a kiss the barb was hanging just over my heart (Stopped this after Steve Erwin was killed. Didn't want to seem disrespectful)

If you mean the lemon shark, you’d be hard pressed to get bitten by one. They were endangered at one point from over hunting because of how docile they are.

Nah he was completely safe, lemon sharks are super friendly. Same with the girl riding the big shark. That's (I think) a grey nurse; they look really terrifying but are actually very docile and completely harmless to people.
There's nothing wrong with sharks that a good John Williams score can't fix.

About that sharks getting evolved thingy, scientists have found a shark that has learnt to walk on the sea bed. It'll not be long before they start coming out on beaches too.
That's already sort of happening. Look up epaulette sharks. They can crawl not only on the sea bed, but can awkwardly clamber on dry land as well, and can survive out of the water for over an hour (at least they top out at only about 3ft (roughly 1m) long).

I did the cage free extreme shark dive at Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium in New Zealand. I felt safer because it was in an aquarium, but it was one of the most terrifying things I've done! So glad I did it tho, was super awesome!

I know of a guy with a 25ft boat, who loved fishing. He went out one day with mates, off the coast of Warrnambool and a shark almost as long as the boat kept ramming it. He cut anchor, went back to shore and sold the boat and only fished off the breakwater.

You read my mind, i was so amazed how slow that guy pulled up his leg, like i was waiting for something terrible to happen 😂😂😂 we've seen to many shark thrillers and we forget how fake and stupid they really are, in reality that shark went away as soon he realize it's a boat not a seal.
I love sharks, they are stunning, curious and intelligent creatures, they're the puppies of the sea.
They're also terrifying and frankly, the ocean belongs to them and they can keep it, I want nothing to do with any of that. This video had me hunched with anxiety the whole way through, even when I was like "Aww that's Horrdorable."
