Thanks for this review, gave me a great low down on the headset. Just moving from a standard TV set up to a full desktop setup for both consoles. Think ill definitely be picking this headset up now. Quick question though, are your desktop speakers connected directly to your monitor?
Very good review mate. I have this headset for 6 months now too. The sound is incredible for sure but I do think the HDMI switching is overly engineered for most people, especially if you use this on a PC desk setup. The switching basically only works for HDMI devices and PC gamers would probably be better suited to something like the Logitech G Pro X Wireless headset which sounds just as good. Still, a fantastic headset.
Couldn’t agree more! It’s definitely a niche that they are targeting with the HDMI. I wish that PC HDMI Input was supported but overall, I am blown away by the headset!
I need it to work on my LG Monitor. It's a great headset, but there is still no firmware update for it to work on my LG Monitor. Probably gonna have to return.
I’ve got it on PS5 and PC and for some reason I can’t stop other people echoing in party chat and discord. Does anyone know any way to fix this? I’ve looked all over the internet and can’t seem to fix it post adjusting the output and adjusting the mic sensitivity. Seems to only be when my headset is past 75% volume checking this on the g hub mobile app
It might have something to do with audio output. I had a similar issue if I was using the HDMI audio but using the base station through the type c input fixed it for me

Yes! The desktop speakers are connected through a 3.5mm jack directly to the monitor

Did you disconnect the HDMI cables and just run the USB to the PS5? Issue seems to be unsolvable
