Well, I thought I had a fix, but no. One of my viewers (ahmedmohamedali8843) had suggested turning on the noise gate, which I did, and the problem went away...temporarily. Now it's back. BTW, the noise gate function is only available on the PC's GHUB. The IOS app doesn't have that feature.
I may of found a fix for the audio bleed problem I described in this video. I just have to do another test, and if that works then I will feel confident the problem is solved. I'll keep you informed.
I do actually have the same issue, but only at like 80 percent volume, which makes my ears blead, so it doesn't make me regret my purchase. It is weird as the head set is so expensive and has this issue, but then again, I don't really listen to anything over 60 as it's loud enough for me; any louder is unbearable.
I had this problem when I first got them, but then I just turned them down on the ps5 setting on the microphone setting and it sounds PERFECT for my stream and my teammates. No echo for my team mates. Hope this helps.
Yeah, I tried that - didn’t work. I never have this problem with Sennheiser or EPOS headsets, but I’ve had it several times with other brands like Logitech and Coolermaster.
The biggest problem with this headset is that it's entirely dependent on the base which has HDMI 2.1 passthrough. Its immediately outdated the moment the standard is changed, not only that PC gamers are SOL as they can't use better standards like Displayport 2.1
You don't need to use the HDMI passthrough, especially for PC. Just connect with USB C like any other headset. HDMI passthrough is mainly for current gen consoles and multi/device setups.
I can’t play with friends because it’s so loud and annoying it’s like I have the audio coming out from my tv they say and I have to turn it down so much less then 50% audio in order to play but at that point I honestly can’t hear anything
I actually just picked up an old school Gen0 A40 MLG edition brand new in box for my PS3, only because I saw one for a solid price and I remember when I was 14 at MLG New York I saw str8 rippin using them in halo 2, but my fiance got me the Gen 3 A50’s years ago and I ended up getting rid of them. Wasn’t crazy about them, I’m sure these are a lot better.
@@District.24 I can’t believe something like that wouldn’t have been tested vigorously by Logitech’s people, like how did not one single person raise to volume past 80 and not report this issue before major production.
I do have to mention, you probably should not be listening to your headphones at maximum volume 100% of the time. That will lead to hearing loss. The other effect that happens is your brain calibrates your ears to the volume you're listening to, that's why people constantly increase the volume wanting that 'loudness'. Turn it down and adjust to that volume and you'll start to feel that 'loudness' again over time as you readjust. Secondly, generally from my understanding, if you need to increase the volume to gain more clarity that sounds like an issue with the headphones itself, a good pair of cans should have the clarity no matter the raw volume. But, just my 2 cents as a psedu-audiophile hope it helps!
Lmfao @ 100 u going to need a hearing add soon lol. I play fps on the lowest notch with no issues. Everyone is different though jees if I turn it that loud my ear drums will pop.
Just letting you know the a50s had a reset button, where you press two buttons simultaneously and it resets the astros to on after they completely die out…I had two and in my last one my friend did a deep search up on them n they had the problem that after two years they auto die n I think it’s done on purpose for more sale….just press the two buttons n they come back ALIVE!!!!!!
Hi, you really caught my attention. You are really super prepared and for this reason I would like to ask you a question that has been bothering me for days. I would like to change the headphones of the play 5. I come from the launch headphones of the play (the pulse 3d). I have no budget limits. What would you recommend me? Which are the absolute best for PlayStation 5? And if I may, what is the difference between astro at 50 and astro at 50X? Are there better models than these? Thank you in advance 😊
The difference is the A50X has graphene drivers and supports HDMI 2.1. Best wired headset for PS5 is EPOS H6PRO, or if you want wireless buy the Corsair HS80 RGB Premium.
My A50s stopped working a little over a year after getting them. The headset wouldn't get recognized on the base station. I thought it was broken for about 2 years, until I saw a video a few months ago about that issue and a ridiculous fix involving 2 separate drivers for the headset and base station, and they started working again. If that's the issue you had, let me know, and I can link you the video.
My issue currently is the a50x is not showing video or audio on ps5 or series x. Everything was set up correctly. 3 hmdi 2.1 cables. Firmware updated for monitor and a50x. Customer support is clueless. They think maybe defective. What do u think.
@@likewater1429 My resolution is for the older A50s, not the A50X's. I really know very little about the new ones so I don't think I can help you. I will say if it is still under warranty, send it back and have them send you a new pair.
Astro still have worst headband designed fault since a50 Gen 4 and went through 3 of them. Because it popped out of the socket after months and the headband won't stay in. I was hoping that Logitech would make Astro design a different headband designed connection part only. Nope, I can tell that a50 x is the same type of headband designed as the fault by images and video reviews. Astro had a good headband designed connection on old models before Gen 4th/ a50 x. But it was harder to switch headbands by removing from the connection. I do like how easy it's to remove the headband and put a new headband on Astro a50. Because I have disability and it's easy to replace the headband piece. I want Astro to combine how easy it is to replace the new strap connection to keep it in the socket.
No. It’s an internal problem not external. I don’t get this problem on Sennheiser and EPOS headsets. They are built well. Logitech and Cooler Master have been a nightmare with this issue. Astro was always fine, until Logitech took over.
Can you do a tutorial, I have a pc ps5 and Xbox series s. I have them connected to a legato hd60 pro. Then I have the video and sound going through an hdmi switch. Can you tell me how to connect the a50x using all possible except for the hdmi switch. Thanks
My issue is it cant watch other things with the base station causing problems. Gaming I can't use my soundbar just tv speakers with the a50x. Also when I go to watch other things outside the ps5 the soundbar will be on but no audio. I have to turn the ps5 back on and and mess with the output setting turn the soundbar off then try again then it works, I can turn off the ps5 or whatever but turning the TV off and on it'll do it again causing this stupid cycle. I wanted wireless gaming when I use my headset but this is a annoying set back that's kinda embarrassing for how much this headset cost. I'm using a lg c3.. I feel bad if everyone who use their TV for everything they do.
@@District.24 I've had the a40s with the tr mixamp. Served me well but I got tired of the wires. Back to the fix I turned off HDMI link on the ps5. No more issues.
Why don't people just get the JBL Quantum 910 (PC, not XBOX OR PS3 ones) headset. Far superior than even the most modern and expensive razer headsets, with support of simultaneous Wi-Fi & Bluetooth audio playback from two different devices, also you have DTS: X certified and the best sound so far that you could probably get for use in game and movies, unless you pay out silly amounts for a proper audiophile headset for about 500+ Euros/USD/GBP... And all you need to use is the included USB-C 2.4GHz dongle.
@@xcasder7885 I doubt people buy these kind of headsets for the best microphone, rather the best audio and overall feature accessibility, such as wi-fi and bluetooth, etc. .
Turning audio down DOES NOT fix the mic issue. Mic constantly cuts in an out, making it sometimes impossible to understand myself (testing in windows voice recorder). What utter garbage... but I think I came across a fix. Looks like issue is with 5ghz router wifi. Chaning 5ghz router channel to 40 seems to have helped! Will need to do more testing but so far difference is noticable, this looks promising. It was on auto before so maybe that's why the issue was intermittent: th-cam.com/video/eAgGlRLaQck/w-d-xo.html

im currently having an issue where my audio is super choppy and keeps disconnecting and i have no idea how to fix and have seen no fixes for it.
Love these headphones but the problem Im getting Is whenever Im using them the sound goes off for 2 secs then comes back on Its super annoying.
Does they have the Headband issue like the old 50s, with the Headband popping out, if they do not have it, imma buy them immediately
