Probably the most difficult you’d ever tackle is my copper colored 69 Dodge Charger my mom bought for me in Highschool in FT Ord California (Seaside/Monterey Area) when I first came to this Country It was only a 318 car ET5 paint code with Black Vynil and Tan interior,traded it for a 70 Black Barracuda to a Black guy in Seaside Wish I had it back still have a Picture of it

I feel like you kinda left us hanging on your boss mustang. Do you still have it ? Did it get restored? Did it still have the boss engine? Since this was #1 and your car at least give us some details
We wanted to keep the stories quick and concise. After I got it verified I sold it to a collector who's going to be doing a concourse restoration on it. The car still had the original 428 CJ in it, as it was the wheel and tire test car. Of the 7 initial prototypes, about half got B9 engines. Heck, I've got paperwork on one of the prototypes that shows it had a 406 in it!
I always figured the pink Shelby would never be found. That some enthusiast got ahold of it in the '70s and, without knowing the history of the car, said "Who the %#@$ painted it THAT color??!!" then repainted it a more 'proper' blue or red or something. Isn't there also supposed to be a pink '68 Shelby Mustang convertible that Carroll had built as a gift to his secretary? Last I heard, that one hadn't been found
Dad sold it in '85 and it went to Poughkeepsie, NY with new owner. Which we haven't been able to find anything on. We're trying to find out what happened to the engine dad built and was in the car when he sold it. It was removed later on, but not sure which owner did that.
@@jeremyb6508 The Shelby I remember was here in Greenfield Center, NY. It sat with a blown engine for a while, and I think it was removed. I don't remember the guy ever getting it running and I have no Idea where it went to.
Wow. Very well could be. So dad blew the original 428 while he owned it and then repowered it with a 427 using some of the 428 parts. It ran extremely well!! 4.56 gear detroit locker, C6 automatic with shift kit and stall converter.

We had a white 1969, 428 cj Mach 1 when I was 14. Standard mach1 hood though. Purchased new from Max Curtis ford in East Lansing, MI

The blue shelby sold from Indiana in 1985 and went to NY at that time.
