I love ❤️ this - Ezekiel from side control was my best submission, but because I’ve been focusing on many others I’ve recently had a little trouble finishing it. I think 🤔 these details may help a lot - thank you 🙏! Also, had a little trouble finishing your Plastic Bag choke on big guys - any advice to finish once you’ve wrapped the head & got your sleeve?

Ezekiel works wonders with beginner level guys straight up to intermediate guys. I managed to submit even a purple belt (as a withe belt) with this move (ok i had good weight advantage and fitness advantage due to my former experience in muay thai), but it's an easy choke to set up and it does its job. Further you can set it up from mount, side control, back control, north south and even inside his guard sometimes (dont try this with higher level guys, you just piss them off and they wont tap). But if the opponents level rises, they automatically start protecting their neck in close situations, so the choke gets less effective the higher the level goes...

i doubt the purple belt gave 100% on you. you should not beat a purple as a white especially without grappling experience

Even in the highest level tournaments, the Ezekiel from the back is a standard submission.

BOOGER C anytime someone threatens this inside your guard you should immediately start threatening an attack, such as an arm bar. Do not let them settle into this.

Squeeze your guard and extend your hips as hard as possible into full extension. That will remove all of their leverage.

i googled it is illegal. dang... When an athlete blocks the passage of air to his/her opponent’s nose or mouth using his/her hands.
