Manvendra Singh Gohil, the openly gay prince is a testament to the statement that the best way of leading is to lead by example. With great power comes great responsibility, this was something that the royal prince, heir of the Maharaja of Rajpipla, truly understood. As an advocator and proponent of the LGBT community, he has been at the heart of many revolutionary initiatives in India which aim to grant the community the status, respect and acceptance it deserves. He is the founder of The Lakshya Trust and an Ambassador Consultant of AIDS Healthcare Foundation India Cares, the world's oldest and largest non profit organization for HIV testing and treatment . But most importantly he is a royal revolutionary, the first of its kind. Manvendra Singh Gohil (born 23 September 1965) is an Indian prince who is the son and probable heir of the Maharaja of Rajpipla in Gujarat. He is the first openly gay prince in the world.
