If there is one person I believe would be deserving of Godlike Superpowers it would be King. He has by far displayed the most Heroic qualities and the mindset to make the most of it. He knows that it is not about being the strongest, but the greatest and best. He can reach the pinnacle of one and still see the need to reach the pinnacle of others and how difficult, if not impossible, that might be. He knows that there are many more qualities to Heroism than just simple strength.

I feel like king needs to get some sort of power due to the fact that he’s ultimately lucky. Whenever he’s scared he’s contemplating if he’s going to die so, with powers I think that he’ll be able to actually save civilians and and himself. But he’s meant to be that 1 lucky mf so it’s pretty unlikely that it would happen

Honestly it makes way more sense for him to use his status to stall monsters until everyone else can freely evacuate and other heroes can defeat the monsters.
Basically I think his role should be to stand directly in the firing line of danger despite being just as weak as all the other civilians he's saving. I also think it's important for Saitama's arc for him to acknowledge that King is a TRUE hero despite not being strong and strength and powers aren't what makes a hero but it's standing up in the face of danger for others. I think it's important for Saitama to realise that King and to a greater extent Mumen Rider are actually more heroic than Saitama by this definition because they stand in the face of great danger and unwinnable situations whereas people often get hurt because Saitama is very often late or not around during the most pivotal moments when people need him.
