    I followed this recipe except I did 3 parts indigo and 1 part henna and it covered my grays beautifully without the copper and I got a dark brown color on my hair. I did add Amla and Aloe to my mixture and I washed with Soapnut and applied to mixture to damp hair. It washes out nicely and I used to co- wash because I applied the mixture to my hair while in mini-twist... It works!!

    Hi Khadijah! Thank you for all your hard work ❤ I have a couple of questions.
    Can you leave the indigo longer than 4 hrs? Is it safe?
    Since we can’t deep condition for 3 days after the henna indigo treatment, is it okay to use a green tea, feenugreek + Amla hair tea rinse daily for the week following?

    Hi/ Assalamualikum Khadija,
    Thank you for all you amazing informative content.
    I'm desperately trying to move away from chemically dying ny hair.
    I am excited to try an colour my naturally dark brown hair with 50%grey, with Henna, indigo and Cassia, but I watched a video regarding mold spores that lives in indigo, and how it has the potential to make you quite sick, also some people have experienced hair loss with indigo.
    Have you come across this at all, and is there. Way to overcome these issues.
    Really don't like the thought of loosing anymore hair.
    Kindest regards.
    Fatimah

    I just interlocked my hair. Will the Red Raj Henna and the Indigo be hard to wash out of my baby locs? When I wore my hair loose and washed out the Henna mixture and the Indigo, I would see a small amount of particles in my hair. I used the co-wash and a scalp scrubber under water to rinse my hair. There were some particles after I dried my hair. I am afraid the particles will get into my locs.

    I get the most gorgeous results with Moroccan henna and indigo in a 50/50 followed by a pure henna application, but i can only enjoy it until i wash my hair again. My issue is that the indigo washes out!!😭 I clarify, use henna sooq only products, leave it for 3 hrs, wait 2 days or longer to wash my hair again, but time and things again, the blue just washes out until I'm only left with the reddish copper tone of the henna on my greys. Been trying for 10 years. 😢

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can, but if you have pesky grays that might not be enough. You can do a second round of henna + indigo for a dark brown, but a second round of just indigo will get you a black color

      Every henna powder has it’s own dye release time (this is the needed amount of time that your henna needs to sit to reach ideal ready to use).
      Please follow our guide:
      Moroccan Henna Powder 1-2 hours
      Red Raj, Rajasthani Indian henna, Jamila and Yemeni henna 3-4 hours.

    • @HennaSooq

      Hello that combination wouldn’t work. It must be henna and indigo or else with a cassia it won’t cling to the hair strands and will leave the hair with a green hue.

    • @HennaSooq

    I have noticed, after indigo paste application, it start dropping right away. It’s very annoying. I have tried with less water too but still drips. Any advice?

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! You need to make sure to add enough liquid to make a thick paste and aloe vera powder to stick well. Wrap it and then cover it well. Some people drip more then others. If you’re on the warm side it’ll drip. Did wrap the indigo up ?

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello. Shampoo bar infused with soapnut powder to gently clarify hair making this a go to shampoo before coloring your hair with henna and to remove any build up in the hair. Leaves your hair feeling refreshed, moisturized and cleansed.

    So why not keep on hair overnight for henna? For maximum reuslts

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you leave it on overnight, you are not getting any more color than if you left it on for 4 hours. Henna has a peak period, so after a certain point it does not deposit more dye. If you leave it on overnight, it is very heavy on your scalp and can dry out, all resulting in a higher chance of breakage and damage. It just isn't worth it.

    And because its natural powders you have to touch up your roots. More than likely your hair is growing faster from henna so proceed according. I henna and indigo every 10 to 12 weeks for touch ups

    Soooo, what you’re saying is that you should be starting your henna mixture three hours before you start mixing up any indigo…? This doesn’t come across very clearly in the video. I’m assuming this is what must be done because indigo’s dye release is so quick. If you mix up indigo and henna at the same time, the indigo will not have any dyeing power left and you will get only the red of henna…
