Good tips but doesn't the TV swing out from the wall for watching from various parts of the cabin? That being asked, I have seen at least once where the hinge was on the same side as the connectors which would make it a challenge to reach for many people.
I got a friend who may book icon of the seas in 2025 and so far the videos i've seen on youtube have that flat mounted tv that doesn't move. I would feel bad for him if he is trying to connect his fire stick device into the tv.

It's as if the TV is on rails - just slide it over, hook up the cable, and slide it back into place. This was not the case on Oasis, however - the TV was bolted to the wall and didn't slide.
For many of us, getting away means having the time to enjoy tech. This is specifically why RC and other lines are spending much time/effort making sure their new vessels have solid internet connections. If you don't like that kind of vacation, fine, but not everyone vacations the way you do.

@@HarrLable Exactly! When we are enjoying our room my husband enjoys watching the tv while Im on my laptop. Trust and believe we do alot of running around on our cuises. We are not the ones to run around all day long. We want to enjoy our room as well!

This is the case for most standard cabins, but in suites (like the Loft Suite shown here) the TV is flat against the wall and does not swing out.
