I love that MJ recognised by himself how dark the ending scene looks in live action as opposed to cartoons and decided to make it more kid friendly. Just in the way he explained to make it more kid friendly you can tell he really felt very grown up making the decisions for his own short film.

Honestly I'm really impressed with how intelligent he is, to be able to come up with joke ideas that are actually funny, and also to see his film and make a fair critical judgement of an aspect that could be improved. I think it's really important to spark kids interests from a young age, and the fact that you took the time to explain to him, and let him take control instead of just telling him what to do is really great for his curiosity. You can tell how much fun he had, and how happy he was with the final product. You never know, he could grow up to be a famous director one day.

I watch a lot of action films, and when I was young and I watched spy kids, it looked really fake same as shark boy and lava girl, the movie looked really fake, it was the script, the acting, the post production, they way it was shot, it all looked fake, and it reminded me of a school movie, not like a cinemas movie, and if those school rated movies can be in a cinema, tbh this movie ain't bad considering this kid could do this and it's about the same rating as shark boy and lava girl, also spy kids, made by adults and professional actors, Jazza's son really did a great job. :)

I hope you are making up for your childhood now. Also it is ok to live vicariously too. Let's face it, most of us, like Jazza, did not have perfect childhoods, so MJ is very blessed to have Jazza as his Dad. Especially seeing as Jazza is not spoiled by his fame and he is using his talents and platform to help his son with his dream, when he did not have these resources when he was a child. Good on you, Jazza.
