Growing up we’d go on the most discounted cruise we could find as a family. And my mom would get me the drink package and I would be in charge of running to the bar back and forth getting everybody a drink because you can only order one at a time. And I was happy to do it cause it meant I got unlimited soda and mocktails lol Now I’m grown up and going on my first cruise with my little family and I’m going to do the same thing and can’t wait!
My husband and I went on our first cruise this year and loved it so much that we booked to go again next year. I always heard about the alcoholic beverage package but not the non alcoholic one. Neither of us drink so I’m ecstatic about the refreshment package. I took advantage of the Black Friday deal today and went ahead and reserved it. I can’t wait for endless mocktails😋
thank you for the informations i thought everyone in the cabin had to buy a pkg if 1 person did no matter which pkg you purchased. good information, thank you.
excellent video! My family became Diamond last year and it's really worth it! But I never had the worry of being diamented! I've been traveling since the 2000s and managed to get there!!
I've noticed that the deluxe beverage package price often is lower per day than on shorter cruises. When you take a cruise of 8 nights or more, we've gotten it in the $48 dollar range on sale. It means it's very easy to get get our moneys worth with just 2 drinks a day when we get the other alcohol free beverages.
As a diamond we get 4 free drinks a day each . If we want more we just purchase per drink. Last cruise I think it added up to be 10 extra drinks for the week.
Wait until you reach Double Platinum status. 8 drinks per day plus 2 specialty restaurant per day and complimentary $500 casino credit, also unlimited drinks while playing in the casino no matter how little or much you gamble.
My husband and I have the deluxe drink package. We tend to take turns going up to the bar. We also like to share our drinks. Are you saying,we are not allowed to get each other a drink or share a drink?
Yes you can share drinks as you both have a package. Also if you take both cards to the bar by yourself, you can get two drinks for each visit. Just don't share with another passenger.
22 days and counting….. who is going to the 2023 Key West Fantasy Fest? October 20th to 29th. This year‘s theme is “Uniforms and Unicorns” It’s to celebrate 200 years of the United States Navy in the Florida Keys
Although more expensive than most, and so maybe not a cost effective, I can easily drink 10 drinks in a day. It may sound a lot, but when you start off with 2 glasses of wine at lunch and 3 glasses at dinner, that's only 5 drinks for the rest of the day and night.
@@305jakec Probably. I guess it depends on the ports. When I did St Petersburg in Russia, no (still probably had 5 or 6). That’s because the tours were all day and only got back just before dinner. When I did Bergen for the third time, yes. There was only one thing left I really wanted to see which was the funicular, so I was only off the ship for a couple of hours. The drink package for the line I usually cruise with is only about $25 a day. So after 3 drinks I’ve gotten my money worth.
Are you able to make the most out of the package even on port days?? I'm debating on getting it, and I'm worried that on port days, I won't get the most out of it
18% for every drink - water, soda, mocktail, cocktail, beer or wine. If you buy a package that is added to the cost and charged up front. So no $ at all during the cruise if you abide by the package limits ($14). Its all in the video

@sophianao4448 it might have been before. Remember that 30% off is a better deal than a buy one get one 50% off.
Cheap as with package Aussie 20 plus drinks per day Excellent value 👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷🍷
It’s currently around $1100 for 2 ( 1 week )

How do you get those statuses?
@@Thatguyinthe452 it's based on nights booked. No different from hotels. The more you cruise with them the more points you accumulate.
Fart noise
