I been dealing with that house for about 4 years now has always been one of the best fragrance lines I've ever tried

Genre’s upcoming ordering window is my biggest temptation to break my current no buy! I really admire how dedicated to trying out new additions/samples you have been in your journey. I have a tendency to accumulate new fragrances and ignore them in favor of tried and true options. Then I look at my collection and realize I have so many I need to truly experience and evaluate before I should consider adding more… and let’s ignore my need to let go of what I know I won’t reach for 😬 I’m a work in progress 😂 thanks for sharing your faves ❤
Oh my goodness that's going to be tough! You can do it though, that's always January and you can start off the year with Genre!🤗 Not going to lie, it's tough not sticking to my comfort zone fragrances, but somebody has to be the guinea pig!🤣 Having a blast, ty so much! 💗 I'm hoping to highlight old favs and get a nice rounded use of the collection soon.

Ladies: my SOTD was Amber based with oud. Normally, this is something I wear on hikes or walks! ROJA amber aoud (roll on from Etsy Al Dunya Imports), Dua Mosbster Aoud and Royal Musk also Dua and all from the inspiration of Roja Dove. Many will say this is too masculine but to me, amber is Hypnotizing and amber and aoud is a mystery! Great video!!! Gracias Janelle, such a joy to start my evening with your enthusiasm for what we all love!

I got a 10 ml of creme de la creme in my last order, and I like it. It’s delicious bedtime scent so far, I layered it with Genre’s Praline Musk ir Almond Musk I think

Hey Janelle, what are the most sweet/gourmand picks from genre? I’m not a fan of super masculine, unisex frags either. i have chosen Serene latte, ginger esq, rockabye baby, creme de la creme, plumb dumb, virtuoso, hypnosis, noble soul, virgo, MDMA, sedative, essence, and mello vanilla. Thought of getting lemons in liquor but decided against it.
Hi there!! Great choices!!!🙌😊 I would say the plumb dumb might be a little masculine leaning, not sure though because I've not tried it yet. The Noble Soul is a wonderful Kilian Black Phantom inspo, it's marketed for Men, but I love it in the cooler weather, very Gourmand! Essence and Mello Vanillo are 2 of my favorites for sure!! Next time , try Complexion, it's beautiful. 🤗

Parfums de Marly Meliora. Very fruity and feminine. A lot of people think it smells like Lalique Amethyst.

Hello, I have had a great experience with most, but it does depend on the fragrance. Their Mojave Ghost inspiration called The Shadows for example far outlasts the original by a long shot, but other fragrances go for a good 8hrs or so.
Have you tried vanilla shadow ? They Fire at will Jovoy Paris inspiration?

Thank you, this is a wonderful house! Hope you enjoy it. I'll be loading a review as soon as I can, but When in Puerto Rico is such a nice unisex fragrance that pulls slightly masculine to me in the dry down with tobacco and musky notes. The opening is a nice citrus and tropical fruit scent. Very nicely blended fragrance. 😊

No problem! I will personally share it with my Boys because it's unisex for sure, but if you wanted something more feminine, there are other options.🤗
I’m trying to compose my Genre order lol. How does Positivo compare to Virgo? I know they’re both lemony scents. Which do you prefer? Ugh this is so difficult lmao. 😂
Isn't it?!!! When it's a toss up between 2 , I normally do the 3 for 10 and then upsize the next order window if I loved anything. I personally prefer Positivo over Virgo because Virgo has a floral and powdery component to it and Positivo is more Gourmand smelling with a nice woodsy base. 💛
I'm beyond stoked for the new releases though!!!!! 😅

You should also try Above the Clouds(Original), Cajun Musk(think original), Almond Musk(By Killian Rolling in Love), Eau de Vanille(Royal Crown Sultan), Afro Retro(Byredo Bal D'Afrique), Bonfire(MM By the Fireplace), Music to my Ears(MM Jazz Club)
Yes the perfume serums (Cajun musk and almond musk) are very interesting formulas to me.

Gosh the throw is amazing! I totally missed out on the car air freshener of Essence , but did get one of those gifts to put in the vent and right now I have Essence in my car!!!!! Chef's Kiss!🤗
I did not smell Any gourmand nuances in Virgo. I just wanted to mention that for people like myself, who do not enjoy gourmand fragrances, Virgo does not lean that direction.
Loved this one because it was very transformative on me personally. There are plenty of reviews that mention the Gourmand nuances in this one. Some get soft marshmallow lemony vanilla, others get fluffy lemon pound cake like myself. It doesn't stay that way the whole wear though, it did end up smelling pretty powdery soft almost clean vibe and very classy. I feel like this is one of those fragrances that varies a lot from person to person. That's nice you were able to enjoy it since you don't pick up on the gourmand tones.
