I don't think the New 3DS XL came in that White color here in the US, the two main colors, aside from the limited editions, were the Dark Red and the Dark Grey. It looks great in White. Man the New 3DSs are such pretty consoles. Nintendo absolutely nailed this design, like they do with most handhelds tbh. Also you're very right about the 3D feature, it's very gimmicky. But it's also a fun, weird thing that the console can do. The 3DS was a very feature-rich system.
Try to homebrew that one. One of the best decision of my life is to revive my 2ds (which i owned for more than 8 years now but only played 2 games in that span because games are too expensive). Now i'm playing my 2ds everyday and tried different 3ds games i've never tried before all because of homebrew.
Today my first 3ds is arriving, is a "new" 3ds XL black, I really wanted the white one XL or this one but here in my country are hard to find or out of my budget, I got mine for 180$ Dollars and it already comes homebrew with games and its in really good condition so there is that! They are becoming more rare to find as time goes and I really wanted to experience this handheld because I couldnt afford it when I was a teen and the 3d really make its an unique experience, happy to see more experiencing first time as I am !! Have a lot of fun!!
If you really want it to match the Switch you could swap out the 3DS buttons to black ones! Although I understand that can be pretty risky taking it apart.
450$ is about market price for brand new. Some I have seen as low as 350$ but rare and few. I pay 25% extra tax to import it to my country tho😀 So thats a nice extra slab of dollar
i think you may have been scammed, I just bought a Japanese new 3ds LL for about 180 on ebay. ive found that the region locked ones are way cheaper. (breaking the region lock by hacking it is super easy too)
Ws for winning the dual IPS lottery, it was expensive and took over a year to find mine. You didn’t even have to try

@@himbourbanist Yup you’re right! Pearl white was I think JP/EU only, honestly my favorite color besides the Monster Hunter 4 silver color.

Yea homebrew is a must, especially since the console is region locked.
I got a used one on the way that looked in new mint condition by the pictures provided by seller and complete.

Yea it's getting up there in price, but it was worth it IMO.
@@iamdriy Just handle with care and it can last a long time🙏
Where did you buy yours from? And what was the price?
Bought mine on Ebay, was about 415 USD after shipping to the US & taxes. $450ish with all the accessories (Shell, SD card, charger, etc...).
u should mod ur 3ds

@@kutlass55 180 for brand new unused? I checked other stores in the US and the price was around that if not more for an unused new 3DS XL
@@iamdriy if they’re telling the truth then yeah. i was hesitant but seemed legit. maybe im about to be scammed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@kutlass55 if that’s legit good find damn
They were not scammed, 180 is a typical price for a USED "new 3ds LL." I just bought a nearly-new new 3ds LL for $380 after taxes
great deal for a brand new dual IPS! i got lucky this week and bought found a USED dual IPS for $180 US region.
You should always censor out people's emails and WhatsApp numbers. I don't think it was polite to share the sellers info without their consent.
