Great video and job on the tractor (as always) It is super to see/hear of the younger ones helping out in the case with the snow removal - this concept is lost on so many people today
And just like that you show why it's cost effective for you to do the repairs yourself. Just the cost to get the tractor back and forth to the dealer and their labor would triple or even quadruple your costs. The fact it was thermostats and a water pump, something many people do themselves to save money and time, better showcases why you do things this way than trying to explain to naysayers as you did in your last video. Love the channel, please keep posting new content!
Andy 9410 did just got back from John Deere dealership they had two months right. That pretty sad if they forgot fix any parts on tractor 🚜. It dealership do job right on repairs seem they look at tractor on 9410 . Great video keep up good work thanks again answer my questions. Have wonderful day and drink nice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon, Stroh's and Coors Light beer. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Andy, Many of your patrons comment on how hard you work. Being a 81 year old farmer from Niagara County I know why, you live in New York State. You and your Family are all hard working people. God Bless you and yours.
I have started using the pre-mixed antifreeze, and my boss is too. It was pointed out that well water varies in hardness and contaminants that can cause clogs and rust. Never thought about it before, but since the switch my truck has run cooler. 🤔 Great video Andy, loved the drone footage!
Paint colors can be inventory control. Use up the green ones, then use up the yellow ones and then use the black ones. Its like how they introduced New Coke so that when they ACTUALLY changed the flavor to "classic" people wouldn't notice it was the actual new coke.
Andy, I attended a Vermont Fire Academy training last night regarding Lithium Batteries and their inherit dangers. The instructors noted a significant uptick in fires in New York City due to electric bike batteries overheating and causing a fire. This has resulted in 13 fatalaties. I know you have obtained electric bikes. I would suggest you not store them in building. Also dont leave the being charges. Lots of information online regarding these issues. Good luck
There has been fires all over. They definitely get HOT and catch on fire. I agree keep them outside or in a separate building not attached to anything.
We got our first snow in the past few days too. It’s -30C ( -22F) so we will have it until Spring thaw. $1200 seems a bit salty for a water pump. Not much you can do about it.
Hey Andy, don't forget to dock Sara's pay. Her tractor was in the shop for repairs dirty. We know how you are a stickler on having clean equipment in the shop when they need to be worked on. LOL :) 😀😅🤣
I was surprised you got 9410 to stop the regen. Ive tried to stop it on my 318G skidsteer few times. End up just shutting it off. Although isnt good when its cold like its going to be here in Wi. Exhaust definitely smells hotter and different.
I very much enjoy your videos. I am not a farmer like you are but I grew up on farms and deal with the construction of barns on a daily basis. I was curious as to why you just referred to the water pump part as coming from “DEERE”… and not from Caz equipment…? As you usually do? I’m a local. lol. Much appreciate you! Ken
We got a little bit of the white stuff Tuesday night into yesterday morning that ended up changing straight to rain the only thing I did last night was cleaned out the end of the drive with the bucket on the tractor that was it I was trying to avoid people going ass over tea Kettle.
I have always stuck a chunk of wood under the back of my machine, and then put the boom down with bucket tilted and the machine is off the ground. No jacks
Andy, how do you keep from mixing up US and Metric sockets/wrenches on your scale of equipment? I used to use a dab of yellow(US) and red(metric) paint on or adjacent to the bolt to identify it correctly.
Hey Andy have you guys thought about doing merch? I like the black sweatshirt you're wearing and was wondering if it was something that could be ordered?
I like them Milwaukee sharpies I've got two of them in my front pocket at all times. Hey out of curiosity, what size snow pusher do you run on your backhoe? Im building one now the original plan is 12 foot but I'm a little concerned my machine won't push a full 12 feet, so I thought about maybe cutting it down to 10
Andy, I got a question. When it snows does it seem to help your crops grow any better I figure a crop farmer would have a better answer Thank you sir. Always heard snow makes nitrogen.
He puts out good stuff, just can't hear a lot of it, no matter how high I turn the volume. I'm amazed at the work you both do on equipment, I just don't understand why it's always you that has to get in silo.
Great job changing the thermostats Andy
Great job changing the water pump Andy
The story with your dad was gold ,you want to know how it works ask the young guys lol
Awesome drone footage Andy
Andy and Warren at Western truck and tractor repair are the hardest working men on youtube.
Great video and job on the tractor (as always) It is super to see/hear of the younger ones helping out in the case with the snow removal - this concept is lost on so many people today
Great video Andy
I appreciate the drone footage of the beautiful snowy countryside up there. All the best for the New Year!

I actually remember you replacing that water pump, and it does seem like yesterday 😂. Good catch 👍
Hi Andy !
Good job !
Thanks for the drone shot , i love it .
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm! 🙋♂️
Regen problems suck. Great video Andy.
Andy Charlotte’s truck looks cold 🥶 u should put it in side
Great video and interesting. 😊
Great video as always Andy

Good thinking on the replacing the water pump 👍🚜
Another good one Andy 🐄🚜🌽👍🇺🇸

nice fresh snow to step in as a kid well have been the moon as a kid to go exploring and hiking
unless there was tractor work to do👍👍

We use only premixed
Distilled water is a lot cheaper then the water in the premix.
Andrew stopped at Grammie house for a cookie. That’s what I used to do.
Love your videos Andy I was raised on a diary farm I know the struggles
Some of us viewers would really like to see more footage of the cattle and inside of your barns and operation
Some of these viewers will continue to be disappointed
Just a little snow? You always make things look easy
Another very interesting video Thank you
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO ANDY. 😊

Keep up the good work. Guys Appreciate watching new videos.
Greetings from Western New York! Looking forward to more lake effect in ski country!
In Michigan we're supposed to get 8 inches Friday and 5 inches Saturday. If you get any of it stay safe.

Cell phones do the same thing
Best to stay in your basement as well as lightning might strike ya.
There has been fires all over.

Thanx for the woman lesson, nice job Mr Hourigan!!!
?
Thanks for sharing Andy!

I am pretty sure that Sarah has claimed the 9560.
This was the 9410
Had 10" in Iowa Monday/Tuesday and expecting another 10" with 40 mph winds tonight into Friday evening..
Thanks Andy

As long as you can get the milk truck to pick up your milk and keep your pipes thawed out in the parlor you’ll be good..👍
Awsome vid andy thanks top job🔧🛠🔧🛠

Sure hope you put
art work in your corner fields this spring
Andy you can't possibly think of everything you have to much to think about
Nice video
Have we ever seen those barns in back by the calf hutch’s?😊
Yes
We'll be getting 4 to 8 tomorrow. Winds will be gusting to 45 mph. The schools have canceled for Friday already.
I hope your shop is warm, too bad you don’t have a heated floor!
Wondering when is your father coming down to Florida?
JIM ❤
Floor is heated
Atleast it’s impossible to install the thermostat backwards:) with that tractor
Question for you Andy ???
Are the three thermostats the same degree opening,or do they open at different temperatures ? Thanks ENJOYED
All the same
I have always stuck a chunk of wood under the back of my machine, and then put the boom down with bucket tilted and the machine is off the ground. No jacks
Time to make sure the sleds run. 😃
Thank. Goodness i live north with no snow
What’s the latest project? Saw three excavators, and a roller out back when you were flying the drone.
Future expansion
Enjoyed the shop time
Andy, how do you keep from mixing up US and Metric sockets/wrenches on your scale of equipment? I used to use a dab of yellow(US) and red(metric) paint on or adjacent to the bolt to
identify it correctly.
Separate tool box drawer for each and when I’m working on something that requires both,I can tell by just looking at the tool
What are you planning on building next with all the excavator equipment parked out back Andy?
Parlor
Andy can you show a video of the milk parlor sometime??
Not currently
Hey Andy have you guys thought about doing merch? I like the black sweatshirt you're wearing and was wondering if it was something that could be ordered?
We do have a web site but we don’t currently have any Hourigan Family Dairy stuff yet.
FarmingfixingFabricating.com
"Swap themOut" Yes!!!
Looks like you may be adding on to another barn?
I like them Milwaukee sharpies I've got two of them in my front pocket at all times. Hey out of curiosity, what size snow pusher do you run on your backhoe? This one is 12’ and pretty much is junk.10 would probably be better, backhoe has no traction. Tire chains would help
Good deal thanks. Kind of what I was thinking too Im glad I saw this tonight
You change the calf hutches around to a new spot?
Yes
Good repair video. How many hrs on it now? Thx.
10,027
not sure what is worse dealing with that damned def or the dang regen crap what is your take on it
Nice.
That tractor needs a good bath
Oh
@@FarmingFixingFabricating lol
Andy, I got a question. When it snows does it seem to help your crops grow any better I figure a crop farmer would have a better answer Thank you sir. Always heard snow makes nitrogen.
It’s all about the moisture. Snow does provide a blanket for alfalfa
Please send OLF the type of mic you use, he needs one!
Has he been kind of quiet?
He puts out good stuff, just can't hear a lot of it, no matter how high I turn the volume. I'm amazed at the work you both do on equipment, I just don't understand why it's always you that has to get in silo.
Andy do you use the Harvestor’s across the road?
no
Expensive landmarks when giving directions. 😯😂
No
Right to repair certainly doesn’t seem to be a problem for you.
Nothing is a problem for him
Didn’t pertain to what I did really
Andy, How many acres does your farm yard cover? Thanks.
About 40
Hello Andy,
I'm not sure if anyone else has asked this question.
I've don't think I have seen any videos of the milking parlor?
Is that possible.
The company they ship milk to prefers he doesn’t and he respects that. Has said it in a few of his videos
He's mentioned several times when people ask,he won't show the milking parlor.
👍
How many people work on the farm?
Around 20
I got a water pump for my 310 backhoe. It’s yellow go figure
🌬🌬🌬🌬❄️❄️❄️❄️👌
😊
at 3:50 is that a neighbor farm or do you own that farm too?
Neighbor
Oi 👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️

Remove all that egr shite while at it,it’s nothing but bother.👎
