Who is your favorite Japanese kami?

Amaterasu. I like gods of the Sun and Fire.

Amaterasu mainly because I saw a video of Fate/Extra CCC translation that showed the interaction between Amaterasu and Hakuno Kishinami. I don't know if it's still up sadly.

I feel like the nasuverse's magic system is basically perfect for creating envy because some mage's simply have better magic circuits than others and there's nothing that someone with weak magic circuits can do to change that they're basically denied power and prestige by the circumstances of their birth and there's nothing they can do about it except for either learning to accept their situation or wallow in envy. and most normal humans in the nasuverse don't even have a chance to learn magecraft at least they don't know how powerless they are in the grand scheme of things.
Or they can pull a waver and straight up screw mages through revealing the "mystery" aspect of their magecraft

So in fate zero waver stole iskandar catalyst from kayneth who was lord el melloi back then , and later on layneth was killed by kiritsugo. Waver kinda blamed himself for that and so did the el melloi family, so to atone/ pay back his dept to the el melloi family he was ordered to become the next lord el melloi temprorary until reines (kayneth little sister) becomes old enough to take the title back (since she is too young to take the lord title officially)
Well without strong magic circuit you still can be a great alchemist if you choose atlas institute
It's a shame there isn't any magecraft from Africa. Would've loved to see what that looks like.
There probably is but Type Moon hasn't focused on it yet.

Yeh, I can imagine a Holy Grail war taking place on africa being a pretty good premise for a story.

Let's take on a new identity and I wish I was in Japan so I'm ready to learn about Japanese magecraft oh perfect eight million gods of Yao yorozu mokami is oh yeah I'm all about variety of mages oh my friend you entertainment me by performing arts, music and games.
Last time I was so early it was still Tengu that held most Shugendo secrets, and Ushiwakamaru had not even lived and studied in the mountain.
Last time I was so early everyone was using Age of Gods Magecraft and it was not special to still retain it.
I would love to see more representation of the Southeast Asians and what kind of Magecrafts they hold.
Mainly shamanism, need to connect spirit and human to bring the powers, also in SE martial art they have trance type martial art, let your body as the vassal of spirit.
I wish nassu will bring SE Asia magecraft in typemoon universe
