Bringing up Kariya in this video makes me wonder what his full potential might have been/if he never stopped being a mage and how that might have affected the grail wars🤔
I love how they also turned the elements of Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Void into stances for F/SR. As soon as i saw the first 4 I already knew the last one would be void especially since Musashi is our sensei
The thing I'm wondering is that, you almost never hear about Servants having these type of elements there's like only a few examples within the video too where it's a servant it feels such a rare thing that's only been used by recent magus Same thing with magic crests, you'd think you would eventually find some servants with it when they utilize it for generations
Well to put it bluntly, they are still downgrades from the original powers they are descended from. The very concept of magic crests are modern mages' desperate attempts to struggle against the overall decline of mystics as history marches on. Most Caster Servants are superior in ability to even the most formidable of modern mages due to this basic law of the Nasuverse. They have access to spells and resources that simply don't exist in the modern era and 90% of the time have no reason to rely on modern magecraft concepts which are generally weaker.
@@Doralga Nah, Medea straight up copied the teleportation from true magic. She plays around with pocket dimensions as a hobby. She manipulates mana without the help of spells so she could literally recreate anything Zouken took a lifetime to research with a wave of her hand.
@@edwardwu2639 C'mon we've seen the results shitty mage Archer ran through her with his arrows with no effort. Rin the high schooler beat Medea up with her bare hands hell could you imagine her versus Bazett she eat her and Kuzuki in one go
There's a scene in Prisma Illya where Illya, Luvia, and Rin trick Chloe into an improvised quicksand/bog-like pit-trap. The liquid it was composed of had the five elements mixed together as to effectively neutralize one another, which prevented Chloe from getting any power for her abilities. It made me wonder how effective such an approach could work generally within the 'verse. I mean, could you theoretically make the Nasuverse Azkaban out of elementally neutralized materials? Or could someone like Kiritsugu incorporate such a concept into his mundane anti-mage armory?
Kiritsugu is an unlikely character to come up with it, or at least without help, Rin on the other hand could come up with such a scheme and has the 5 elements in her favour, and true magic users could use it on the most efective too, but tend to do basic traps instead because they are strong enough for anyone to break free
I wonder if someone gaining divinity or becoming an oni can change a persons elemental affinity especially if your changed from a human to an oni I feel like an affinity for water or void might make the transition easier or just make you less likely to die in the attempt.
Maybe the Heaven's Feel movie covered it and I forgot, and maybe my understanding of what "Conversion" means in Fate isn't correct, but after you went over Water and Earth, I was expecting Shirou to be listed as having a Water Affinity, and Kiritsugu taught him Reinforcement, which I'd assume was an Earth Affinity, to limit Shirou's abilities and keeping him out of the world of Mages.
I wonder what other abstract or non traditional elements might exist such as chaos and order whicy can both theoretically tie into free will and along with that potentially grant power over reality with chaos bending and breaking it whilst order could lock things into place along with thst such magecraft messing with these hypothetical elements could theoretically influence entropy and other principles of reality or in the case of order could be used to optimise ones magical energy usage to levels of basically perfect conversations
Maybe Shirou had a dual affinity a sword is metal so maybe his original elements could have been earth were metal comes from and something else fire maybe.
Terrifyingly so, she's naturally as strong as Rin but with an extremely powerful esoteric element, her connection to the greater grail also gives her a insane ammount of mana
As far as I remember canonically she had access to all five elements which I think was one of the main reasons why Tokiomi chose to keep her and trash out Sakura like the fake ass bitch she was
Great video Tsiah. I have a question for those in the comments. So with Percy Jackson's divinity and powers if he could get the chance to learn magecraft. What types of magecraft would be possible like reinforcement or anything else that would suit him and how could his powers benefit him and how strong could he be or what magecraft he could develop. Also which mage would be the best teacher for him
Probably better than Shirou. Shirou's Origin of Sword lets him copy any weapon as long as it has relation to a sword. While it is powerful, it limits him to only copying sword-related weaponry. If someone were to have an Origin that were simply "Weapon", I'd wager they'd have much more power since "weapon" is a more general term. Anything can be a weapon, so they'd have a lot more to their arsenal.
@@jorienwachukwu466lol, when it comes to weapon projection, shirou is the best, there is nothing better than him in this category Shirou projection is different than others, his projection is permanent and don't need mana to continue it's existence, it's so absurb that it manage to copy a noble phantasm, including it's technique and user's paramater it can also see the history of the weapon (just like clairvoyance) shirou also have reality marble which is among strongest ability where only few have and most of them is from age of gods the reason shirou is incapable of using other megacraft (refering to the element) is because shirou's origin is sword, meaning all shirou megraft revolve on sword theme

Run your pockets we want everything! The Opp: I feel like I shouldn’t have gone outside today.
one thing i wanna know is how emiya says he could project excalibur but it would kill him so in ubw shouldn't excalibur already exist within it so why doesnt he use ubw then use that to use excalibur
It’s powering his Excalibur that would kill Archer, not the Projection of it. Archer doesn’t have the magical energy specs to maximize a holy sword. He can overdraft himself but that’s suicidal and his Excaliblast should still be significantly weaker than Saber’s.
There are sacraments that allow Executors to take a heavy object and make it lighter so it can be wielded more effectively. If that could be done with magecrraft without the use of an object (like enchantment or something) would that kind of ability lean towards any particular element? Earth, maybe?
This is the calmest I've heard Tsiah

Yeah
Probably not super high, like Tokiomi level at most. Matou is easily the weakest of the 3 families.

Appreciate the videos Tsiah. Learning so much about the Fate verse. One of my favorite animes. Get healthy man.
also in the nasuverse elemental affinnaty is also connetected to concepts such as water allowing a greater affinty for healing magecraft

Wait I always thought he was taught to use his nerves like magic circuits. That way, the pain of frying them would eventually discourage him
@zacharyhood1651 No, Kiritsugu taught Shirou Reinforcement Magic, which is a magic that Shirou wasn't proficient in.
Have you considered covering the franchise "a certain magical index" it has a magic system that's just as interesting.
