Well I agree with much of what you say. It’s not illegal to accept gifts and donations. The conservatives have excepted donations from the son of a high ranking KGB officer and then given him a place in the lords against the express wish of our secret service. So while I can find no fault with much of what you say the scale of it is somewhat of a much lower order and our right wing media did not kept up the drip drip stories when the conservatives were in government. What we need is a modest tax payer funded political system where no donations from individuals companies or trade unions are allowed. I believe the Germans have such a system.
"Sort of thing that ruined Boris Johnson's tenue ... " I think Two Tier has far exceeded BJ by now. As for classing this as mud slinging it's actually proven fact. One that would be admissible in a court of law.
Harmony we agree! On the MP’s expenses scandal it is worth recalling that it was the Telegraph that ran with this the Guardian turned it down. I also have problems with the valuation of the gifts. If the value of Alli’s flat is correct then this is understated (according to a professional friend) by at least 80% (and how for heavens sake is Covent Garden a quiet area!!)which makes me question the other figures. You don’t get many Brioni suits for his figure. On homework I don’t really know. Many students drop out before the end of the first year and this may be because they are not used to the individual responsibility that one has at University. I also think that the hike in fees will add to this. ‘How many lectures do I get per week’. I had the good fortune to be taught for part of my academic life by Socratic method - I found this difficult until one of my tutors spent much time (some over a drink!) helping me. I thereafter much enjoyed it.
What I can't understand is how Starmer has failed to learn from the failings of the conservative government. Just because something isn't illegal, it doesn't mean it is morally right. IMHO
If Labour don't get this stint in office right they may very we'll lose in the next election and it will be a long time, if ever, for them to come back to power. People I believe now need hope now not further despair. Anyone who can offer that hope with integrity and honesty, and is accepted by the general public, has a good chance to lead this country.
I think people have finally had enough. We've seen how both performers in the political two horse race run their shows, and it's high time for change. We need proportional representation, and a move away from the system which clearly no longer reflects the feeling of voters.
It’s not his sexuality, it’s his greed, and lack of judgment. The bottom line, the right wing media, whether it’s right or wrong, he was going to be targeted. He was aware of his unpopularity, he shouldn’t have been so stupid. This scrutiny is at the start of his Premiership, it’s going to be unrelenting. It will be Starmer, Starmer, Starmer, that will be the agenda. But Starmer did appear to take the moral high ground, on integrity and hypocrisy. I’m afraid he made his own bed.
Well then, he should throw out the soiled sheets and replace them with new ones, not paid for by your wannabe mates. No member of parliament should be allowed " gifts ". If John down the pub buys me a pint, I know he wants something in return. Perhaps we dont pay our politicians enough 😂😂😂😂😂
I suspects he feels he should have some benefits for becoming PM - nice sun glasses & private box to watch his football team - and those 'gifts' came without using public money. Whether he was foolish and has broken any rules presumably we will find out. As far as I know he isn't a liar and made bribery & corruption his modus operandi.....but It's still early days yet! It will teach him that the media has an agenda....Angela Raynor had it with her mortgage payments & Keir tasted it with his lockdown 'working' meal. Different rules for Tories to Labour seems to be baked in
Who cares if he's gay.The problem is the blatant lies and constant gaslighting. If everyone is treated equally then half the troubles we now have wouldn't be.Treat us all the same and we will all get along.Treat certain people differently to others is NOT the British way.Kind regards.
Your standards are no better, for all your religion, sir. Honesty comes from within, and if there's a smidgeon of improbity in the man, he's unreliable to the end. The ability to say no, and make it stick, is essential. Once, working for the Cadburys, they offered the staff a couple of shares. I was the only one to say no, generous though it was, it's not in my contract. I'm a man of my word, and expect th same back.
If the best defence of Starmer is, he is not as bad as Johnson, thats a pretty low bar, as a life long Labour voter, some of the things he has said & done already , mean if he is leader come the next election they wont get my vote, taking the winter fuel allowance off pensioners is something even the Tories wouldn't of considered.
The self righteous self serving entitlement is breathtaking. He genuinely thinks is acceptable. The sausage gaff demonstrates he is reading with no emotion, spouting parrot fashion.
IMHO
Because he's a hypocrite and did not believe the morality he was spouting.
Tim do you think Keir Starmer will last as prime minister? I would be interested in what you think.
Ne stuff on Starmer 15 grand make it over another 100 grand the 20 grand for stay at the penthouse undervalued the correct figure 100 grand. .
HES NOT GREEDY HES DONE WHAT MANY DO OR GET FREE FROM COMPANY, BEST THANKS G WOULD BE TO STOP SUBSIDIES TO PARLIAMENT
One view, where an opinion is now sedition under this despicable man under this despicable man
Not set, but those many expect, even though labour never said any such thing.
If he really believes in his words then this would not have happened.
He hates being challenged because his style is one of a dictator.
That's exactly the impression I got. He clearly wasn't even thinking about what he was saying. As you said, parrot fashion...
I think Britain should be The Brightest Beacon
Beacon of what?
More Boris Bullshit!!!
To liken Starmer's current position with Johnson's string of scandals, corruption and rule breaking requires a very selective memory.
But it s a very bad look when the 2 kids benefit cap is still in place and the WFP has been stopped at a low level.
Education isn't about what's best for children, it's about maintaining a social order & hierarchy; Those who can afford it, get to send their children to the schools they went ( & owe loyalty ) whereas the rest of us are ground down into soulless dole drones who know our place & are grateful for the scraps off our Masters tables.
And your suggestion for an alternative might be??????
🦤expensive being a Politician NO 💨
One rule for them and another for us and this is what keir Starmer quite a hypocrite!! Not a good look!
he's called two tier keir for a reason.

Power corrupts
For now I see it
The time the tories were in power vs the amount of time Labor is power for now
Not the best start so far but not that far yet. Best change some behaviour that seems to have been too normalised before it becomes a pattern.
Thinking it through first
Ever the optimist

I'd call it a friendly bit of advice from my end, that was the reasoning behind choosing such a decision
That's just putting it politely
@@johnmurray5573 I'm not opposed to the UK though I'm not apart of it in any way.
I admit some in the UK have listened to my point of view and where it comes from and that I appreciate.
However to continue the status quo is not really viable
In both our respective countries
Time to get the lettuce out?
Boris is a joker (or clown, if you prefer) but Keir is a joke.
I heard Lammy is the Court Jester 🤡
A group of Clowns is called a Circus.
The idea of the SNP talking about integrity is hilarious. Its hard to be more corrupt than the Tories were but at least the SNP have done their best. I'm not surprised people who prefer the tories in power would rather keep this nosense up for clicks though.
AND BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND TORIES IS THAT LABOUR WILL WORK FOR THE PEOPLE NOT FOR DONORS, THIS WILL BE FORGOT IF LABOUR SOEND MONEY ON STUFF TO GET ECONOMY BACK
So taking away the pensioner's Winter Heating Allowance is working for the people, is it?

Dunno about that, she was utterly incompetent.
Starmer should do the honourable thing and resign Tim . But there is no honour in modern politics Tim .
Yeah, what we need is Tory Prime Minister back, they are honest upstanding chaps & chapesses.
@@Sean006 🤣
@@Sean006 Yeah, of course we are not happy with Labour accepting £100's of thousands of gifts, it would be better if we, the taxpayer, were embezzled for billions again by another Tory government 🤔
When you set yourself up as being a goody two shoes then you shouldn’t be surprised when it goes horrible wrong that every one will pick on the open wound, stupid dies what stupid does
As opposed to being a narcissistic corrupt incompetent arrogant nasty clown (i.e. Johnson)?
Professor, sorry to disagree the drip drip going on at the moment about allowable gifts under the current regulations promogated by the tories over their time in government. Pails into insignificance compared to the law breaking and the arrogance that Johnson took part. The passage of time will generate the any of the appropriate criticism of the actions of the current government.
🙄The nutty professor!
Queer Starmer should just resign now, the corruption and sleaze is so over-whelming.
You have come a long way on this matter since your first video. Perception is key.
But please stop saying apparent hypocrisy.
It's simply hypocrisy.
Ignore your regular viewers not tuning into these videos. This is important.
See Professor Stuart Capitalism and Communism compared in The Great Courses Wondrium He shows essentially Socialism and Capitalism is a spectrum not polarity and Kamala Harris demonstrates her knowledge of this Economics. The most successful societies follow her principles . Professor Stuart took some special cases to demonstrate thus truth. He chose The EU, Singapore, Sweden, and showed that the billionaire behind this conspiracy against the EU, Democracy ad liberalism are wrong These lectures that were delivered Before Trump was even thought a serious candidate, he showed that immigration is an inherent part of economic management and the Nationalism Xenophobia,, Racialism Misogyny and Male chauvinism are rubbish, he showed tht every thing Trump says it unmitigated drivel, ad everything that MAG says is rubbish, He shows that everything the right wing conspiracy says is nonsense. This is not political propaganda is this a serious discussion based on experience.. It should be the rule that every candidate for every party must have a six month course on Civil Engineering, Economics and Economic History , Geography Demography, Genetics and the public should follow these courses and the information and the knowledge is there, it is the precondition of a serious liberal democracy and liberty. If the electorate were serious they would seek, enquire and need to understand the factors that govern their day and day lives, and fear, rabble rousing ends in only Fascism, Gulags, massacres, wars, concentration camps genocide pollution toxic substances in the environment and the need for Welfare, the need for Education not as luxuries but as the preconditions of liberty. This knowledge destroys the hysterical nonsense of Trump, MAGA Farage, Reform in the UK it demolishes the ideas of Murdoch and all his media and press. They vector hysteria .
