I think covering the legs with plastic as well as the flower pot and mixing the concrete first then pour it into the pot..

First of all please get your set up right
I'm sorry I don't want to be mean or rude but you shouldn't have all the stuff around when doing this in the first place
Get your curtains off
The right technique is to have your placement correct and yes cover the legs as well.
Mix concrete before you do this all around.
