  • Join along for some Lake Superior rockhounding and after we battle a windy, snowy, sunny at times, and then windy again.. kind of day, we head back and break out our 10" lapidary saw and cut open a bunch of our treasures from our rock hunting adventure! I was very happy with the results of our biggest agate of this hunt and I cannot wait to polish it in a future lapidary video.

The weather on this hunt was all over the place, I apologize for the clips where the wind and waves took over the audio! Make sure you watch until the end to see that first beautiful agate cut open, I was not disappointed 🥰

Would you ever consider dropping GPS points of where you go? I’m from southern WI and am not super familiar with where I can access the beach shore.

You found some awesome things! Froze your silly rear end off! but nobody noticed! That wood was really amazing! different but it had character! and man, slicing open those rocks is so satisfying. With the cool music playing in the back ground, it just flowed awesome! Thanks for letting us play with your rocks, with you! And the double bubble was cool and different in its own way. And of course the last agate was a stunner, but you knew it would be!+

That was actually a good Lake Hunt. You found a decent spot. I haven't been watching any Agate vids from anyone lately; I've been so bummed out over my creeks not thawing until the past week, plus the precip. on top of it all. Today and Sunday I was finally able to do a bit, and one afternoon last week. You better hurry up and get there before anyone else, and you WILL find some gorgeous agates. Bi-polar weather;😝😝😝. Well put.

I have a bunch of agates and possible agate’s. Wish i could send them too you. To find out what they are and have them cut and polished/labeled. I would give you half the rocks. I have a full shopping sack of ones to cut. 🤔 🧐 i might buy a small saw; and try sanding some myself on the polishing disc. Great work on the videos! Nice find’s! 😎 👍🏻 🧐

Hi ho hi ho it's off in the snow I go. I would go blind looking at all those dry beach rocks but it is always worth the effort. Nice piece of drift wood soak that in polyurethane and it will be a bute. On the agate it looks like there is a botryoidal wall in the inside behind the quartz pocket.

Hey you can start hitting the creeks again. I have had a couple of really great days now. Most of my finds are on the edges, BUT the couple I've found in the currents are phenomenal.

The last rock was the best, but the wood was REALLY great. It looks like a fish.! The left side looks like some of those fish whose lower lip juts out and up. You have an eye just behind it and then the little hump sticking up is a fin. The shape makes it look like the fish is in motion. Such a cool piece of wood! I tried to see if I could attach the screenshot, but I don't know how I can. ☹️
