Hello everyone. Sorry for not writing right away: was a little busy. So, this is a nice platformer that is somewhat like Mega Man but the bosses do not have weaknesses against different weapons (some of them just work a little better overall). You can play as either long range character or melee one. For this boss run I chose No.2 who uses swords. No real challenges aside from traditional "no damage" but I decided to use newly acquired weapons against next boss I faced. This got me with a really bad choice for Guagua fight (I did not use anything agaist No.Unique so that fight didn't count). When I did not get new weapon I simply used ones I was most comfortable with for those boss fights. In the end, I liked this game. I recomment you to try it. Unless you try to 100% it or play it on highest difficulty setting it is not very hard and will not take more than couple of evenings.
I choose No. 02 because I'm terrible to control Kelly,specially these triple jumps,I have played Mega Man 3 years ago and with X,I have this same issue,while with Zero it's fine and you attack even more
That's just one character who is a not!Zero. The actual not!Mega Man here is a gun-wielding boy in a catboy power armor. Edit: Though the catgirl is actually a robot devil girl...
It will be a 2D platformer with beautifully animated pixel graphics. It will also have at least 2 sequels using the same game engine and minor changes in the game assets. Like all MegaMan games.
Some notes: You can animation cancel by jumping or switching weapons. This can let you rack up damage faster as No. 02. Light Sword's super has the highest damage per energy count, but the last sword's super(I forget the name of it, but it's the one here shown to have a sword wave) does damage the fastest provided you're right in front of the enemy. If you want to do damage faster, use Light Sword's super then switch to the wave sword's super to finish off the enemy.
Last boss may be INTIMIDATING with Bullet hell happening there but she got only 1 weak spot: Stay tight in the middle spot while spamming attacks and nullify those docechaedrons. amazing video
first few boss's: pff this looks eazy next few: mk finally lvling in difficulty.. no.unique: well thats just a bullet hell... final boss: aaaand its right back to eazy aprently as all he did was stand still tell the final hit! XD
Comparing to Mega Man: ✓If you miss platform they give you second chances(it has many more than 2 checkpoints),if you fall on Mega Man is instant death,which is painful so it makes this game way better ✓The bad part of this game is that to innovate over Mega Man,you can't switch special weapons with a key to each one(example:weapon 1 you use "Q","W" for 2nd,etc…) ✓The control for No. 02(female Zero) proves if you wanna play Mega Man with less keys,use Zero/No. 02 even knowing it's just sword attacks ✓By recognition of DotGothic16 font,sure it sounds like had some Google resources help The good thing about this game,if you wanna get used to any Mega Man game,start here(if you're not skilled enough,then stick here,better than lose hours of your life in something you'll take a year to finish) My first finish took just IGT of 4 hours some days ago and I found many references beyond Mega Man 3:07 That huge creature which comes in full speed in Wings of Vi 9:50 This boss(first phase) is a Giga Wing heart square reference 10:41 Undertale(optional kill) 15:00 That dragon from Aggelos 20:37 That fight from Iconoclasts that you prevent huge Controller from moving fast 22:22 Mega Man and Iconoclasts bosses(Magma Dragoon and Mendeleev)
This game is VERY inspired by many great games. BMZ3 isn’t even that old lol. But I think they still did a great job with it. And it is clearly unique in its own ways. Definitely a few noticeably great unique boss patterns I haven’t seen before. And the tells for each attack are always very clear.

Some of the explosion and water effect looks straight up metal slug for me, which makes the game sprite feel very smooth.

The final boss seems like a giant cyborg Suika.
That was a disappointing final boss. all you have to do is stand in the middle and none of her attacks can hit you.
