  • The Battle of Asal Uttar fought during the Indo Pakistan War of 1965, is one of the greatest tank battles ever fought since World War II. It is the story where the defensive forces were numerically and technologically way behind the offensive forces, but because of a brilliant strategy they overcame all odds and absolutely decimated a far superior enemy.

Wow good and quick thinking by the general gurbaksh Singh. Major props! Sad to see that US has always been anti India and always pro Pakistan for whatever reason. Investing in Pakistan where the majority are religious fruitcakes was bad strategy by the US. Hope they have realized their mistakes now never to support a country filled with radicals

True. But US only cares about its own interests. If US can train and fund taliban in its fight against Russia, topple governments worldwide to put its own puppets in power, and can change every possible law to benefit american corporates, favouring Pakistan for american interests is a very small thing.

@@5minHistory Yup favoring Pakistan for them indeed is a small thing. They just shouldn't have covertly/overtly supported Pakistan against India like funding/supporting them in 1971 and Kargil war. CIA meddled with our nuclear scientists, they imposed sanctions on us. They could have been nice to India no reason not to. India would have progressed more and they would have had more market access in India too. We could have been good allies and could have had good healthy history which now we don't. Now they're on a decline and I'd like to believe it's all because of their negative karma meddling in other countries everywhere. What did they gain by supporting extremists in Pakistan all these years. Nothing.
