      @@aestasvivax1135 In war first thing that go out of window is Human rights, Ethics and Morality. If you want to win, then be more brutal then your enemy that's the thumb rule of war. That's why sane people's avoid war.

    • @aestasvivax1135
      @aestasvivax1135 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@salmanmohammad3994 even ignoring that, there are too many failures on the Indian side, one which even lead to Rajiv Gandhi getting oofed. Indians could have done better but too many bad decisions like disarming LTTE and rearming other organizations, handing captured Sri Lankan Tamils to the Sri Lankas, RAW providing Intel to LTTE which led to the failure.
      These are just some examples of how a weak political will lead to the Indian army being in a bad light.

But some indian channel be like they were too much leaning toward india itself they tried to be very nationalisim and its not intresting ... Correction here, GEN Kk Singh was Lt Gen 1 Corp not Maj Gen and Maj Gen Pinto was GOC 54 Inf div.

    • @IndianMilitaryHistory
      @IndianMilitaryHistory  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your comment.
      No, it was Maj Gen K K Singh - Director Military operations and General Officer Commanding - designate 1 Corps. This is referenced from the book by Maj Gen Sukhwant Singh' s book. The Lt Gen responsible for the overall section including 26, 54, 36, 39, and 15 Div was Lt Gen KP Candeth. And yes Maj Gen WAG Pinto was GOC 54 Div - as stated in the video. Hope that helps. I have tried to be as accurate as possible in these videos based upon my research. So folks can learn about the facts of the war. Please feel free to ping me if there are any inaccuracies in it.
