I've always seen WW2 veterans documentaries and interviews of their first hand experiences and I always thought why are we never making any such videos.

This shows the lack of planning and coordination in Pak Army, they invaded Kashmir before that expecting India won't retaliate and open a new front in Punjab. Pakistanis have been told lies that India invaded Pakistan, while Indians like you are ignorant.

My grandfather faught 1971 war as a Naib Subedar. And was captured by indian army, tortured for 3 years and escaped from their prison like a pro. ♥️ Proud of him ❤️
He must have been released 3 years later like the other 90,000 west Pakistanis were.
It's was a very difficult loss for an army that belived 1 pak soldier was equal to 10 hindu soldiers. I can understand the shame which lead to them lying.

Major General Iftikhar Janjua Shaheed my mothers chacha was also a prominent hero of 65' war and was martyred in action in 71. We can't deny the heroics when Pakistan fought as one. Unlike the divides we have created now.
Today he embraced martyrdom in 1971. I read his name in so many books and all of them described him as wonderful soldier and excellent officer. Major General Iftikhar khan will remain inspiration for everyone.

Well brother I will not carry on the tradition of taunting Indians as Pakistani. Every sensible person knows that matters like Jammu and Kashmir are only solved on table talks not in battlefield. Wars between Pakistan and India are faught for only political reasons. I have many friends who are indians I ask them to give me other reasons besides politics that cases wars between the two countries. These people either in Pakistan army or indian army are trained to follow orders and in respect to this don't care for their lives to defend people of their country I shall also ask you to just enjoy the vedio instead of triggering a pointless debate as it's past now it can't be changed.

My Grandfather took the surrender of a Colonel Golewala in one of these tank battles. Col Golewala surrended his namazi topi at my grandfather's feet begging for leniency as he had three daughters. My grandfather promised Col Golewala that his topi will forever be on his head and not at his feet. He wore that topi every winter till he passed away in 2014.
If anyone knows of a Col Golewala with 3 daughters, please respond here. My grandfather would have wished the topi be returned to the Golewala family.

It was ZA Bhutto's assurance to Gen Ayub khan that india wouldn't attack pakistan for all out war and pakistan army was caught unaware of situation because of FM of pakistan. It was Bhuttos planning to depose a military dictator, throw him to war was what Bhutto exactly did. It was Bhuttos interview later on revealed , in case pakistan had lost the 1965 war , the days of Ayub khan had been numbered and as pakistan army gave stiff resistance and pakistan won that war as Bhutto stated if pakistan won the war , he was a victorious FM of pakistan . Both ways he was benefitting and reaping the fruit. But Bhutto got golden opportunity in East Pakistan crisis, pakistan was led by a womanizer military dictator and was easy for Bhutto to manipulate the events, resulting Pakistans suddender at Dhaka , army much humiliated and Bhutto grabed power as per his long awaiting dream got fulfilled.

General Akhtar Hussain Malik was a great general and belongs to an Ahmadi family thats the reason he was replaced by an alcoholic muslim General because ayub didn’t want a kashmir win from a qadiani General. Results are In front of us. Couldnt get success in kashmir operation even though Pakistani troops were just few miles away from Srinagar’s main supply road.

. So it was a lost war for the Pakistan as the war was started by them

Early 1965; The confrontation of "Rann Of Kutch" occured. This simple battle was won by Pakistan Army. After gaining an upper hand over Indian army, President Ayub launched an operation in Kashmir.
August 1965; President Ayub sent 25-30 thousand Pakistani troops not in the uniform but in the costumes of freedom fighters. President Ayub was assured by Z.A. Bhutto that this operation will not result in an open war rather the main objectives of this mission were;
1- to start an agitation among the people of Indian held Kashmir to go against the Indian army
2- to liberate Indian held Kashmir using freedom fighrts present in Kashmir and the by using the people of Kashmir.
Result; this resulted in the casualities of Indian army. Indian army at first suffered losses and after that they launched a major army attack on those Pakistani troops plus they also were successful in getting some areas of Pakistan held Kashmir. In short thar operation was unsuccessful.
September 1965; India attacked Lahore but Lahorw was successfully defended by Pakistan Army plus the biggest tank war after WWII was won by pakistan army at chawinda. Pakistan's another ooeration failed when Ayub sent 113 SSG commandos and only 11 returned out of those.
Result of 1965 war;
1-Pakistan air force dominated the air
2-Indian ground forces dominated the land
3- Indian Navy did not take part in the war, Dwarka operation was the gteatest achievement of Pak Naval forces.
4-Pakistan occupied 540 km square area of Indian territory
5-India occupied 1500 squre km area of Pakistan territory.
Some historians say
1-Neither side got decisive victory
Few historians say;
2- India had a slight upper hand at the end
Very few say;
3- India was the winner
I personally endorse the idea of those saying neither side got a decisive victory
