I love the grease series and I’m going back to it myself. I don’t care what people think. All the problems people say grease caused I never had those problems. Oh and pink lotion is the only leave-in that never truly disappointed me. Some people just up and stopped using certain things just because someone on the internet said so. 🤷🏽♀️ Do your own research and what do what works for you.
Taylor Kawali I wish I could do Pink lotion but it doesn’t work for me. I use LIV instead. It’s old old school. I been natural all 42yrs of my life and I fell into that use this/that natural hair frenzy and after all my money was spent I said Girl if you don’t go back to the basics lol
I cant wait to try a wash n go with grease! Right now im experimenting with blue magic indian hemp. I never liked indian hemp but I was willing to try it again with the knowledge i have now. I usually would use the coconut oil one.
The Dax grease I bought has hemp in it and it too smells so good. Blue magic was my mother’s most often used hair grease on me and my sister’s hair. Grease is really working for you hair.
I have 3 jars of that hair grease at home. I used it once but I didnt like it. I also have the original. Hair grease works better for my hair to keep it from shrinking and also make it shiny. Sadly my hair doesn't retain moisture.
Do you know the porosity of your hair? Don't give up. Natural hair is definitely trial and error, but once you figure what your hair likes, keep it up. 🤗
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 yeah it's normal porosity. I find that my hair gradually retains and loses moisture throughout the day regardless of what products I use. But in the winter there's no moisture in the air so my hair sadly doesn't get moisturized/hydrated even though it feels soft and smooth
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 so far I have tried grease, oils, aloe vera juice. I'm thinking of combining them. So leave in, oil/aloe, gel and then grease on top. It worked accidentally one time so we'll see
Do yaw hair not feel greasy after using grease?, my hair always gets so heavy and weighed down and always leaves this nasty sticker layer and makes my eyes burn cuz the grease rubs on my face nd is so thick it makes my scalp itch😭. Yet it kept my hair moisturized but it doesnt give it definition or anything im jealous of u all😭
Are you getting kickbacks for doing these vlogs. Grease is used only for blow dried hair but I do do do not use for a wash and go. Don’t lead us wrong sis.
No kickbacks! Grease was never used for only blow dried hair in my household, as it was/and still is used by myself and other as a sealant and styler. Using hair grease in the way I have mentioned above, has increased the health of my hair significantly. In my reviews/tutorials I illustrate what I do with my own hair. It hasn't had any adverse effects on my wash and gos. However, if I did in notice any adverse effects in the the future, I would state it in an updated video. If you see throughout my channel, I state that what works for my hair doesn't necessarily work for others and my aim is to never mislead. ( Please bear in mind, my reviews and tutorials are my own opinions and experiences, that I choose to share with my TH-cam community on my platform.) Like I stated in the beginning, I've never heard of only using hair grease to blow dry hair, and I know that I am not the only one, through articles I have read and Subscribers I have communicated with. Thank you for your comment, as this is the space where you can share your opinion.
@@cfoster6804 and I still use DAX hair grease and kemi oil and black castor oil. Using that much grease for a wash and go? Sis, I have been natural for 20 years and my coils would look horrible using that much oil. Couldn’t imagine what my headscarf, car seat, and pillow cases would look like. Tell me I’m wrong.
Grease on blow dried hair??!! Never. We only used grease on natural hair. Too greasy to use on straightened/blow dried hair. I don't know anyone that used those kind of greases on relaxed hair.

Thank you. I agree! I've never had adverse effects from hair grease. The grass wasn't greener lol
I was thinking about hopping back to Pink hair lotion the other day

Ooooo pink lotion. That was my jam back in the day with doo gro grease. I have my beloved doo gro but need to grab some lusters pink lotion 😍
I heard they changed the ingredients of pink lotion and that it doesn't work as well.
That's rigjt Lauren I grease my scalp too. It keeps my hair moisturized also.
Yup! Grease is more effective on my hair when it's applied to both my scalp and hair.

knotty knots same I hated the Indian Hemp, but I don't mind the Blue Magic brand. Going to be reviewing the Kuza Indian Hemp brand soon.
