It's a bit odd to have no VLSD in a loaded car like this, but it all checks out. I didn't see the ABS crap under the hood, or the ABS line coming off the nose of the diff - with the S14 you had to get ABS and VLSD together, they weren't available separately.
Omg, got myself one like that but without sunroof and with an SR20DET. The darker red color too. With 56.100km (donnow how many miles that is) right now. Im am currently on standby, but restoring little by little parts. Engine, axis, everything mechanical already done, just need some love on the paint and the interior bcz of the sun and that's it, like new. How many miles you got on it nowadays? Good car man,
Wow what did you do with the car? I thought you should have just got a high mile one to do proper, and keep this one stock. Mine is pretty clean at 143k, but i have no qualms resto moddin mine. I plan on ls engine upgrade when a good deal comes my way. With so many 240’s being upgraded due to weak hp stock, this is an absolute gem. If you can hold on to it for a decade im sure the value will go up.
I know im late, but if you read this, can i ask you how much did you paid for it? Im looking to buy a 19.000 miles one, its in prestige contidion but they are asking for 19.000uss and i dont know if i should get it. Any recommendations?
Leave it alone. Keep it clean and take care of her. You may not see it as an “important car” or a true gem like the old Z’s but to many people these really are important cars.
Haven't completely decided what the future holds, doing maintenance for now. As far as the car value, that's not a huge concern, it's not an NSX it's worth less than a new Ford Focus. So how much am I losing really? It is probably my only chance in a lifetime to mod an essentially brand new 240 though. I think whatever I do will be totally reversible to stock, no permanent modifications (grinding/cutting/welding/etc...)
It’s good knowing that this existed/exists and almost gives me faith that all-original 240s still exist and are possible to find Edit: if it were me, I’d keep it stock and close to factory as possible
Not sure what I'm going to do yet. Leaning towards KAT setup with minor suspension mods, coilovers, arms, etc... Nothing that cant be put back to stock.
Yea that's what the records show. Stolen can mean a lot of things of course, i.e. neighbor or friend takes it and it gets reported. It's possible it was a joy ride maybe. Hard to find info from decades ago.
As an S14 guy, keep it stock and wait to buy another one. This car is a gem.
Thanks! Yea so far just doing basic maintenance to it. Which it definitely needs after all the years despite the low miles.
I just bought a 1995 zenki and when the battery is connected the rear lights come on, does the s14 have a separate switch for the taillights?

I wonder that zenki still stock today

Thats probably a fairly normal price if its super clean at 19k miles, manual, desirable options, etc
That engine can easily get you over 300,000+ miles, I have about 297,000 on my 95 and its still strong. Please keep it as clean as u can
Yea it should have a lot left in it at just 16k miles lol.
Let me buy that radio bezel

-puts bn sports body kit and big country labs wing and origin fenders-
A man can dream. Hahah.
Im amazed how clean this is
Question is a 1996 240sx a Silvia and if so what kind
Yes it is an S14 Silvia just under a US name.
How much did you buy it for? And from where? I heard in the video an auction or bid.
When I bought it last year it went at auction (Bring a Trailer) for $13k and change. Thanks for watching!
Leather to👌my boys didn't have the leather seats. Nice car man hopefully you still have it
Yep still got it. Thanks for watching!
Please keep it stock these are so rare modding such a low miles car will bring down the value

the KA24 was used as a truck engine. it was used in the nissan hardbody i believe
Do you still have the Zenki?
I ended up selling it as I just didn’t have the passion for it I thought I would. I like modding cars and late model stuff.
Dmitry's Garage wish I would of asked sooner, I could of bought it! 😔
KEEP IT STOCK
Yeah I agree on that bro
+2
Great looking and great handling car. I had a 96 SE 5spd in blue emerald new. Had fun in it but had to let it go. Might look for another one one day.
Thanks, yea I've really been enjoying it! So much fun even in stock form, mainly because it's just so light.

you still posting vids?
Yea absolutely, just posted one actually.
*I'ld only add a HKS cold air intake or a decent air Intake.*

Go with an oem+ ka-t setup using stock sr parts
if you build it they will come
#savethezenkis
