This song is from their darkest album. The album this song is on, is the last one where Howard was the singer of the band. And most of the songs just are really sad and for my taste toooo serious. But every song still sounds really amazing as always. The last song from this album was also really really sad, with backstory to knowing how bad Howard felt at the time and that he almost left us... it is really heartbreaking and intense. But i'm really happy that he is doing better nowadays. But this album is probably my second least favorite from KSE. As I said the songs are amazing sounding, but its just really sad and down bringing to me. While majority of their songs usually are uplifting with hopeful and or serious lyrics this album was mostly the opposite. This wasn't just dark times for Howard but also for the band. I would love to see more Killswitch reactions tho, maybe react to ''In Due Time'' it has Jesse on vocals, and the lyrics are uplifting and hopeful as I mentioned. In Due Time is from their album that came after this really dark album, it was Jesse's return album (and also Killswitch's return album if you think about it) and they came back with similar but grown up sound they left behind with ''Alive or Just Breathing'' (their second album which was at the time Jesse's last). Currently KSE is live on tour with the band Light the Torch which Howard is the lead singer for, so for 2-3 songs every night Howard sings with Killswitch Engage which is really awesome. Happy to see how good they are doing. Great reaction.

Please react to more Killswitch Engage! Their newer stuff has the original vocalist back and is more uplifting. Check out “In Due Time”

If you can react to the band: We Came as Romans, "Daggers". They are pretty good, more new age style metalcore with rap.

CR Campbell, what about KSE don’t you like? Or is it that they just don’t have that certain ‘thing’ about them nowadays since Howard went on to do his own thing?
If so then I can relate somewhat to your feelings about them.
For example I more than likely will never see the current lineup live, just don’t have any interest in all that, however if I had a chance to see them with howard I would almost drive across the country. Haha idk they just don’t have that certain aura without H.J.

@@That1_CopDude I just lean old school really... I don't really get onto any of what I call the new metal bands. Basically I quit listening to metal in the 1990's early 2000's. I think the last metal album I bought was Mudvayne's End of All Things album. Being married to a goth girl at ohe time changed what I was listening to. Through divorce and J-metal I got lured back in about 2014-2016...might be a generational thing as I noticed alot J-Metal incorporates old school styles...seems that way to me anywsy...lol

@@moomakemoney listen to Airbourne. They are a modern band that has an ACDC style of metal. My favorite songs from them are "raise the flag" "ready to rock" "down on you" "heartbreaker" and "breakin outta hell"
