I owned a 1973 Grand Am. It was stolen so I bought a 1974 Grand Am with the insurance money. I have also owned a half dozen other Pontiacs, including a GTO and two Firebird Formulas. But the Grand Ams were my favorites. Powerful and fast but also plush and comfortable for long rides. And their styling was stellar.

By far one of the most unique builds to date… the use of materials and style tweaks keep this Pontiac looking factory while also providing the modernization needed to give this beast class & thrills for days!

Back then, i knew a guy whose father had a 73 tempest. It was stock, but for some reason that car flew. Pontiac. And i always loved the lines of this car. Great Build-

I see many overtuned and over-styled cars these days, but this gentleman has style, real style, imo. And he did all himself. Definition of a real car guy these days. From interior to motor, especially the transmission: Would've done exactly the same. This Pontiac hits the spot. I mean: On the point! Love it!

This would be me right here, growing up and still today,I see cars most ppl overlook and already in my mind I can see what it could be,and,I always thought this car had cool lines, and,he laid it out..inside and out, making it a sexy beast while staying true to it's original character.
Love the color scheme, wheels, interior, sound, and, those exhaust cutouts are an awesome touch as well

The exhaust mod was the first thing I noticed! I had a 1975 LeMans in 1982 and this is exactly what I had envisioned it to be. Sadly I sold the car after I modded it somewhat. What a beautiful job he did with this car, EXCELLENT!!!!

WOW!!! This is what the '73 Grand Am needed to match the styling. I always loved this look (as well as the Laguna), but of course emissions regulations as necessary as they were along with weight took away mostl of what the '60s cars were blessed with. This is damn well the car that should have come out! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

Sooooo glad you featured this car! I followed the build online a few years ago. My first car at 16 was a '76 LeMans followed by a '73 GTO at age 18. Of all the big mid-1970s cars, the Pontiacs were my favorites. Such a clean and well-executed build on this Grand Am. Well done, sir!

I'm old enough to know these cars when they were new. There weren't many but I think this build perfects what PMD started. Just because they weren't and aren't common, my two favorite Ponchos were these Grand-Ams and the '74 GTO.
