I am almost 56. I have been using the pressed Neutrogena Sheer Mineral powder foundation in the color Buff, and sometimes a little darker shade during the summer. It's so natural, and so much better than any liquid makeup I have tried. I have combo skin with a bunch of oil throughout the day right down my T-zone. I live in the disgusting humidity of Florida and wore it just last weekend at work (funeral home). It out performed my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (4) and my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Foundation stick (Vanilla). My face looked fresh when I got home. I was thrilled! Seems like liquid and creams do not like my skin, at all. Makes me look older, and breaks down and slides, wears off in patches, etc. Not the Neutrogena Sheer Mineral foundation. Just my two cents for anyone wondering if it will look good on older skin. ☺️👍 *I have never tried their loose mineral makeup BTW: What mineral powder makeup would you recommend for oily skin, or T-zone type skin? Is there one that controls oil for you? I am curious. Thanks for sharing! 🌿🕊️💕🌍
I’m 67 and I love the mineral sheers foundation too. It’s the only thing that covers and doesn’t get into my wrinkles and pores. I’ve been wearing it for years. I’ve tried so many other liquid and other ( low and high end) brands. My skin loves it too. I’m from SE Texas and we have very high humidity. Thanks for sharing
@@cindyduhon1343 ~ Do you use the loose powder or the pressed mineral sheer powder? So glad to hear of another mature woman enjoying the benefits of this mineral powder foundation. I cannot seem to get liquid or cream makeup to work for me. It's all too heavy and cakey, fake looking. ps) there's a tinted moisturizer I am thinking about currently by Saie. Feel like I need a nourishing, more moisturizing foundation lately. * I do not like IT bb or cc creams (too greasy, heavy feeling) and despise anything that oxidizes and turns orange on me. Everything I have heard and seen so far about Saie tinted moisturizer has been what I am after in coverage. Natural, not fake. Have you tried it? Plus, natural & clean ingredients are very important to me now. Do not want chemicals or anything toxic in what I put on my skin, or hair. Do you use any setting spray with your mineral makeup? Curious because I live in the grotesquely humid state of FL. and need staying power for work. Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is in my sights. (need to check ingred. first) Hope this message finds you well. Thanks for sharing in your reply. 🌿🕊️💕
@@1Wendy_Woo Hi sorry for being so late responding. I’ve used both the pressed and the loose. I prefer the pressed powder. I usually just use a light moisturizer then the powder. No need for me to use a primer or setting spray. It’s so easy.
How to open: Once u untwist the cap, u will see u cant reach the powder. There will be a little sticker INSIDE that u peel off. That little sticker reveals those little holes u see inside. Once u peel that sticker off, put that lif on and flip it upside down. Once u open it up u can use the powder!!
Hi! If you look at my makeup tutorial playlist you’ll see I made a video for “how to apply blush for a heart shaped face”. I also made another video, “how I apply contour and highlight to my heart shape face”. 😊
I have never liked Neutrogena. I have not tried that, and prob won't. You looked great as always. Are you going to do a powder foundation high end series? Reason I ask. My skin is also oily, I can't stand it. I tried the It Bye-bye foundation, it's beautiful and beautiful, but by the end of the day, I'm a grease ball! I would like for you to review that and see how it does with you. Maybe I just don't prep my skin correctly, or maybe I load too much of that shit on my face. IDK. Lol. I love makeup and I'm always trying different things! Makeup is my passion and your wonderful at it! I love watching your channel!
Libby Mejia understood, Neutrogena isn’t the greatest lol Thank you! 😊 I do plan on doing a high end series in the future, maybe next year because I do have a lot more drugstore ideas coming out. What are you using to prep your skin? I too pack a lot on lol it’s hard not to when it’s just powder lol
Hey Stephanie, I use a balm at night to remove all makeup. I just started using the brand called "zero cleansing balm" I got the travel size to try it out. Then I cleanse my ski n with Cervea. Then I use toner, and then "Cervea pm' Moistureizer as me last step
Thanks for your input. I’m a newbie for makeup and know I realize the makeup I have bought have all been wrong for my face. I’m only. When I went to Walgreens I went with what the makeup consultant choose because she was more experienced than me. I ended up buying liquid foundations that left so much residue because of my oily skin and I just haven’t found the perfect fit for me. What foundations, type and formula, could you recommend me?
Well first off, welcome to the makeup world 🤗 I have crazy oily skin and I have tried so many drugstore foundations. I did do an entire series on drugstore liquid foundations for oily skin. Here is another video I did that kind of summed up my favorite and not so favorite foundations, hope this helps! 😊 th-cam.com/video/qsbTZCJb3pE/w-d-xo.html
I've been using neutrogena mineral sheers for a few years. I have tried others but I always come back to it. It's a beautiful no makeup makeup look.
