Thanks for reviewing this primer. I don't think I've heard many people talk about!

I have almond shaped eyes, double lids and alot of fine lines on my eyes. This is the only primer I use. I have dark skin and it does leave a bit of a cast, but once i apply my eye makeup and foundation, its fine. I will advise that those who say its thick, apply it as soon as you finish washing your face and added a face cream (face is still a little damp and a little slippy). It makes application so smooth and still holds my eyes together. I like to highlight my aegyosal (undereye fat) to make my eye bigger and for YEARS concealer and shadow would just crease up into gross collections of product and my makeup look was GONE. This saved the day. Broke college student approved.

Im really enjoying this series. Im in the UK so some things arent available here, but hopefully i will be able to get a few of your favourites.
I have watched lots of your videos and never seen you do tubing mascara. Im very oily and have hooded eyes that are getting worse with age (57 now!) and tubing is the only stuff that i can use without dreadful panda eyes and crazy transfer. Id love to see you compare some of them as i keep trying and none are quite as good as the clinique one that they have reformulated to be not tubing and its now awful!

I tried this CG lid primer while my higher end favorite (NARS) was out of stock for an extended period of time. I found the CG formula too thick for my liking, and found that I had alot of trouble blending matte shadows using this as a base. I never powder my lids. I discarded the product after about a week of use; it just wasn't for me. I did buy a Rimmel eye primer but didn't get a chance to try it yet because my favorite came back in stock.
Not to rock the boat, but I wonder if you have considered trying the lid primers using different shadows on different days? I recently saw one creator say that she used different primers for different effects, one of them being that a tackier primer will reproduce the pan color more closely, even though blending will be more challenging. I see that you are using Morphe shadows, which I've personally never tried.

You can get this on Amazon if you don't see it at your local drugstore. I have the link in the description box; this is only if you want to try this out. 😊
