My tube of this has that oily/separated feeling, so I tend to tap it out on my hand a bit to mix the product up better before putting it on my eyes. I don't use it consistently, but lately when I used it I found it went on more evenly if I went over it with a concealer brush. I set it with powder, and it seems to hold up decently. Thanks for doing this series! I have several eye primers but none of them is a holy grail, so the hunt is still on :-)
This is my HG eye primer and the only one I use since I first discovered it 3 years ago. I’ve never had the greasy oily feeling and I’ve had multiple tubes. Sometimes towards the end of the tube I would need to mix it if it started to separate, but it always worked.
THANK YOU! i have oily skin and hooded eyes and no matter what my makeup is always creasing. ive been trying to find beauty channels with the same hooded eyes as me but its always someone who has deep set eyes or just a couple fine lines. this video is very helpful thank you!
I am so glad to have stumbled upon your channel just the right time in finding an eye primer. I will give this milani a try. Thank you so much for this in-depth review. I will be binge watching your videos 😊
I used this eyeshadow primer ages ago when I first got into makeup and I did not like it at all, definitely felt greasy and didn’t eyeshadow last so at the time I just stuck with the Mac paint pot primer. Would you try the p Louise eye primer? It’s definitely one of my go to
I have the milani eye primer and used it without setting my eyelids. It smeared my liquid eyeliner and eye shadow did not go one well. I will try to set it will powder before i out on my eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner and see what happens. Hope this will do the trick!
Got a separated bottle the one time I tried to buy the Milani Primer. Very sad, and since there's no doe-foot to mix with, there was really no rescuing that one. 😔 Edit: finished the video just now, I strongly suspect the oily-feel people also got bottles that had separated on the shelf
I tried this Milani formula -- two different tubes -- a few years ago and both tubes were separated each time I tried to use them. Initially I thought the first tube was a dud, but when the second did the same thing I realized this is a product quality issue. I don't remember it working well enough that I would have tolerated the separation. I don't powder my lids after primer, so if the video is any indication of how it performs without a powder base then I'm not missing anything.
I think Milani is better than most high end. I’ve had them all. All u need is a tiny dot and it wear’s perfectly 24 hrs in all WEATHER. U do have to let it dry for a minute or 2
I got yge elf primer after your video. I wasn't happy it's got hardly anything in it and it's dry .I think I got a dodgy bottle that's leaked and dried out.😂❤
I’m so invested in this series! Thank you for doing the hard work for us Stephanie 🤩

Elisabeth Arden eye primer is amazing. You should try it
That's my go too eye primer. I always set though, because I had the same problems without setting it.

Thank you Stef!
Anyone knows if a water based cleanser can remove the Milani primer or if you need a makeup remover or cleansing oil/balm to remove it ? Thanks !!
Thanks😜
Your videos are always so helpful, thank you! 🎃🤓👻

I have Milani Eyeshadow primer, but wasn’t that impressed. Mostly because it was too sheer and did nothing to cover discoloration on my eyelids.
