Let's give respect to Ezio's patience and his steel knees. He's been holding this pose for a damn hour and a half to give us the moment of nostalgia and inner stillness
12:41 When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three. And now, the twilight of my life, this understanding has passed into contentment. Love, liberty, and time: once so disposable, are the fuels that drive me forward. And love, most especially, mio caro. For you, our children, our brothers and sisters. And for the vast and wonderful world that gave us life, and keeps us guessing. Endless affection, mia Sofia. Forever yours, Ezio Auditore.
Listening to this in France while studying for my law exams, just before heading to Tuscany for Christmas. Second time i'm visiting, and you can guess the second installment of the series was one of the reasons I fell in love with the region. Hope everyone is having a blast listening to this compilation.
If any of you go, go to San Gimignano, the city of towers. I went there, got to the highest tower, and posed just like Ezio in this video on the wall. Looking back I feel stupid for doing this due to the danger but never the less it was unforgettable.
Sanctuary is imho the best track i have ever heard in any videogame. Pure chillout with renaissance vibes. It's extremely good after a hard day or even before a hard day. I often hear it, when it rains outside and i am in bed or in the bathtub. I absolutey love it. It's just sad, that maybe we will never get a similar soundtrack again like in the first AC games. AC 1 and 2 was absolutely stunning with the music.
Sanctuary is probably my favourite AC track aswell :) I just love it. It's such a majestic song for long forgotten greatness. At least that's what it feels like.
I fell in love with the series when I got my PS3. There was assassin's creed, with Uncharted and other games i forget...this one...oh my, this one got me, with the music, characters, the story, the world...I loved Desmond. Odyssey and Valhalla were the latest games to make me really fall back in love with the world of AC.
Its so wonderful that after all these years we come together to remember the good old times in Assassins Creed. When Ubisoft did a wonderful story about a great assassin. When the story wasn't just fun, but went into our hearts. I miss these days. AC II was the reason why I flew italy. I visited every city of the game and I had tears in my eyes. To stand on top of the dome in florence... To see the Castel Sant'Angelo and remembering the difficult climbing to the top in AC Brotherhood. To stand on the bridge (ponte vecchio) and remembering the first fight when Ezio got his scarf. And so many other places. I hope Ubisoft will do a similar touching story one day. I won't give up my hope
You visited Forlì too? I'm genuinenly curious because I live nearby it and it is complete trash. The castle you see in the game is a fucking prison (literally)
Ah, the Ezio Trilogy is special for many reasons, but the music definitely plays a crucial part in it. Listening to these soundtracks brings me back to Firenze, Venezia, Roma or Costantinopoli. I feel the satisfaction of roaming the cities of Italy (and Turkey) and slowly becoming a master Assassin. So much nostalgia... Thank you for putting this together!
The music from a series that didn't only give me a cool time but also doubled my intrest for history and philosophy. From the 3th crusade with Saladin and the templars during the crusades, to the borgias and their reign in rome. To the creations of Leonardo himself that he actually drew on paper. Those machines in brotherhood were ideas he came up with. To Constantinople etc. Or later in the series before i played ac3 (i played ac3 before seeing its time period in class) i learned it wasn't all cowboys fighting outlaws in a desert. It showed the actual first towns but a bit later already and the indians being invaded etc. I can't put in the words the smile i had when my teacher mentioned the boston tea part and i remembered i threw fking tea from a ship in ac3. Or the renaissance people rediscovering the Roman history. Especially the time period of brotherhood and 2. Like from Machiavelli to Leonardo. Even tho Leonardo never used his inventions in real life its so cool to see them in action. (don't know whether they would work irl). And the cunning of Machiavelli in the game. The Borgia parties in rome we witnessed and that they did unholy things that people in my classroom were unaware of. Its amazing this series. Even the newer games like origins was so cool to finally be able to walk through Egyptian society doing mummification rituals etc or the Greek world. And yes i also liked Valhalla although less accurate it was very cool. And lets not forget Mirage. It was very cool to see Bagdhad in that time. The animus was made to experience the history but although not always accurate assassins creed is one of the most animus like experiences the world can offer us.
Damn... It really shows how great of a soundtrack Ezio's Trilogy has... My favourite is Ezio & Caterina. There's like, pure emotion in this piece, love but also pain.. I dunno... Gives me chills every single time I hear it
I always felt it was a song of two ships passing in the night. Truly, they were meant for each other. But could never have one another. At least Ezio managed to find someone in the end.
@@AJ1987LV its all about a descent storyline with great mechanics and above all the breathtaking journey into the Italian architecture and history i can’t falter that game it was just amazing
I just finished Revelations the other day for the first time. What an amazing game. To me it’s the best of the three. The way they wove three different story lines with Ezio, Altair, and Desmond. Absolutely brilliant, I see why people love the trilogy so much now. I can definitely see these games being remade in a few years, and they would sell the shit out of those!
I love how you put this together! all these songs are very majestic and a lot of them give me the chills. Thanks for putting time in making these soundtracks!
the most amazing part of my life was assassins creed brotherhood. I wish this playlist would be played when they pour my ashes into the river so that i could be living with the memories of ezio and my family.
taking the story of the real hashashins of hasan sabbah and creating this story from it is pure art ! The philosophy of assassins in the game is inspired by the teachings of hasan sabbah , being in the dark , the goal to eliminate injustice from the world by killing the persons of has power. analysing life with bilateralism of apperances and the innermost matters of everything around us. that's why the most common quote in the game is " nothing is true , everything is permitted" for anybody this sounds weird and crazy or just words but for the hashashins of hasan sabah there's always a hidden meaning and they know that what's hidden is always more valuable and more effective.
They sure need to finish the series. Without Patrice, Jesper and Corey it will never be this good again. It was still good in ac3, but after that... No. No more.
fun fact, cento di questi giorni means "a hundred more of these days", it's an italian common saying used to underline the happiness of the moment and to wish another person more days like these ones :)
Funny how you mentioned this video to me! I already used this to fall asleep a couple nights back! ❤ Keep up the great work and ill be eagerly awaiting what you do with Ezio and all the other amazing characters in the gaming worlds
This warm my heart :) Quick question: How do you play those videos while falling asleep? Because I would try to with some ambience tracks, but I don't want my phone to be on the whole night. Do you have some sort of trick?
Ok, so.i press the gear and set to low quality and repeat so the video plays till I'm satisfied. If I wake up and don't need music anymore I simply turn the music down to mute so the video keeps playing but doesn't disturb me. If I like the video enough I download it with my TH-cam premium and then just play it on repeat. I have infinite downloads so I don't mind letting it download all night. I just choose low quality just in case the internet goes off and my 4g takes over lol

This is for anyone who has never played the first Assassins Creed from 2007. This Ezio trilogy follows the vague and mysterious master assassin from that game. I am a major AC fan up till the Origins and Odyssey ones and then my love for them fell off with those two being the main cause because in my opinion the entire premise of the game went away and all they focused on was an open world of repetitive motions. But anyways, if you haven't and if you can find a copy of the first AC game I'd definitely suggest playing it and then the Ezio trilogy because all 4 games are linked and are direct sequels. I'd say Black Flag will always be up there with it being fun but as for the story and in depth character building the Ezio trilogy is by far my favorite and will always be.
Assassin's Creed Codename: Red will take place in late 1500's Japan, less than 80 years after Ezio's passing. Here's to hoping his legacy is a central focus of the game in some way.
