A secondhand coffee table with a glass top often has 2 tubular steel frames the same size if you get the right sort of table. You'd need to saw it down. I have a 4ft by 2ft one that cost £20 that could be used except I'm using it as a giant artist palette (The old paint is easy to scrape off).
Hello If parts cut with cnc can be printed? I'm wondering about strength of that kind of parts(if it generates wobbles, can hold enough runners etc.) thanks for the help

If you use a sacrificial tooling plate you can Mill the entire profile. make the hole first then tap a hole to clamp the part down and undo your other clamps
But you do not use another smooth system un the axis X and Y. The noise in the standard rods is verte high. And in the electronics you can use supersilent drivers to reduce the noise of the motors.
can I Upscale the frames x y and z to get a printing size of 50x50x50 cm? how difficult it is? what should I consider besides the frames and heated bed?
